Support Dashboard: tracking the status of your reports

Hi all,

We've reintroduced the Support Dashboard. If you were around during the old days of the website, you might remember we had a tool to track the status of your reports.

I'm happy to say that we've now brought it back. You can access the new Support Dashboard by picking 'Support Dashboard' from your user bar.

Here's an example:

The support dashboard will show you the status of your reports, and also let you in to some extra details. You will be able to see the amount of reports we have received for the content, the moderator comments on the report thread, as well as when the content was first brought to our attention.

If the content has been hidden or deleted, you may not see the title of the file and instead just 'Content deleted'.

You can also re-check what you sent to us by clicking 'View Your Report'.

There are three statuses a report can be in:

Resolved - This means the report has been closed by our moderation staff. Closed reports usually mean the report has been dealt with and any moderator action has been applied.
In Progress - A moderator has marked the report as being dealt with, and as a result the report is acknowledged.

New - We have received the report, and is pending being dealt with.

Sometimes a report can go directly from New to Resolved, and sometimes even reports which are being dealt with can be stuck as 'New' if it has not been marked, so you should take these as general guides.

We hope this new development gives a bit more transparency to our report system and helps you keep track of your reports.

Cyan.
