Modded OPENIV cars, uniforms etc not showing up ingame.

Featured Replies

Hello. I have a very annoying problem. My police cars, uniforms and EUP pack is not showing up ingame. I have both dinput8.dll (asi loader) and openiv.asi installed. I dident play LSPDFR for a couple of days and when i came back to play it this happend. I have tried to remove my mods folder and installing a new one. I have tried removing any copies of Scripthook, AdvancedhookV and Scripthookdotnet. I have tried to reinstall the game and paste all my DLL's in there and starting the game. Nothing is working so far. I believe the problem is that there is a new update folder in "dlcpack" but i do not know for sure. If anyone knows if the Independence Day update brought a new dlcpacks folder please let me know. So far nothing has worked.

Here is all the files in my main directory:

Ok, your plugins files like "TrafficStopBackup.dll" should be in your "Plugins" folder, not the main directory. I would suggest you reinstall the game, download the plugins you had, and watch this tutorial (watch part 1, then 2 etc) :

Yes i know. But the thing is that i have been modding for a few months and when i went to play again my openiv wasn't working. I am sure this has nothing to do with my plugins since the same problem happens without the plugins.  For the plugin "Traffic Stop Backup" should not be in my main directory i have just not bothered with removing it.

Ok, well I reckon it was an update to GTA online. Becuase If you havent played for some time, when theres an update to GTA, it breaks the modded vehicle folder so you have to reinstall all your car mods inside the latest  dlc folder.

What I do is delete the whole mods folder, and re-copy a new version of update, x64 and x64e into a new mods folder. Then use openiv to search for the required vehicle, (e.g. police.yft - which is the POLICE1 slot). Then right click on one of the search results as there may be a few, and click "Go to file". Then check all the other search results, and put the vehicles into the highest patchday number. For example, police3 is in updte.rpf, patchday3ng and patchday4ng, so I put it inside the latest  one which is patchday4ng. You need to do the same for all your vehicles that you want installed.

Hope this makes sense.

Just something i noticed. My addon vehicles are not working either so it has to be something with openiv.

Oh, have you got OpenIv.asi installed?

Yes. It may be caused by the openiv.asi not loading correctly. Not sure though

Same here, mine will take 7 hours becuase I've been having texture loss problems after doing ForceDuty, so maybe GTA  is broken at the moment idk.

Yeah. Seems weird to have Gta V do this since nothing for me atleast has changed since the last time i ran LSPDFR. I know GTA havent updated since i have turned off automatic updates on steam so it seems really weird.

can you show where the vehicles are actually added & the path you use to get to them?

I got a completly clean copy of GTA V and installed LSPDFR and one model. Loaded the game and the model worked fine. I think what i am going to have to do is to reinstall every plugins etc.  Will get back later when i have done so.

The paths to my vehicles are Update/x64/dlcpacks/pathday18ng/dlc/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf

They are the paths which i have been using for the past update. The peds are in their correct location aswell. It worked fine then i stopped playing for a week when i came back it dident work so it has nothing to do with the paths.
