i've never used the pathday folders, unsure as to why so many do. i use albos modding pack & never have a problem adding vehicles,peds,weapons ect.

 

 

it's much simpler to use and much simpler to find errors out i highly recommend you using it rather then the pathday folders, even with updates nothing really changes.

 

try adding vehicles/peds this way before totally giving up deleting everything.

I use albos modding folder for my addon vehicles and the patchday for my "default" vehicles

My bad i thought you where talking about addon vehicles, you can try send me a vehicle and i can try adding it into the folder you have it in to try and see if it works on my side? that way you'll know if it's something with your files or just with gta ect itself

With a clean install everything works but with my old install it dident work. I will have to reinstall every plugin. I used the pack below but no vehicle was working.

ah i see, well it will work with my files then since i have the newest version not old ones.

it'll be the gta v updates since it'll work with a clean version. i'd suggest just having copys of your gta v directory and stopping the updates in one of the directorys.

 

that way you can always play on one even if gta v updates, then work on the one that got updated to find what needs to be fixed as new models get added ect.

Update: I copied all my plugins and all the dll, asi etc files from the main directory and pasted it into the new copy. Started GTA V and the cars worked. Its very strange since i did the exact same thing before with the results being that the cars wont spawn. The thing i have to do now is reinstall all of my peds, cars, addon cars, sirens, weapons sound ,weapons etc involving openiv. While i am at it does anyone recommend any good "true american" sirens?

so weird how sometimes it works like that  :') glad its fixed! 

 

here's of a list of ones i've been using/playing with, not sure how 'true' they are as i'm british but they seen to be the best out there far as i can find.
