Okay. So put your sheriff slot in the modding DLC pack V's vehicles.rpf folder. Then use this vehicle.meta and put it here: mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/modding/dlc.rpf/common/data/levels/gta5/vehicles.meta. Put the meta file right underneath the green text. Press save. Come back to me with any news. Could you put the link to the pack that you are using?

You might have another vehicles.meta file somewhere that may cause problems. Try installing this and adding the default sheriff2 meta or if the vehicle pack has a custom one use that and put it in the new vehicles.meta file. The new meta file will be located under: mods/update/x64/MODDING/dlc.rpf/common/data/levels/gta5 Enable edit mode and right click on it and click edit. Go to your downloads folder and do to the modding pack zip file. Go to meta templates right click and edit it. Seach for "sheriff2" and find the meta lines. Copy it and paste it into the meta file in openiv. Hope this works.

What you also could do is download this. Then put all your police models in there to keep them in the same place. It keeps everything organized and simple.

Also, if you haven't already. Put "Post FX" and "Shader Quality" in your GTA V settings to High or above.

It might just be that the author of the model didn't make a animation of it. Could you post the link to the model?

Did you download Open IV here http://openiv.com/? If yes, McAfee is most likely marking it as a virus by mistake. It's kind of known for that.

What keybindings? The default combination for the ELS display is CTRL + P.

Do you have Radiance V or any other custom visualsettings file? If no, i recommend this: It makes your lights really bright and it makes them look 10x better.

Hello. I recently downloaded a Los Santos Sheriff's Department pack by t0y. One of the vehicle's has a rotor lightbar. It does not seem to work for me though. It is not actually lighting up when it is rotating. I had this problem about 6 months ago but I fixed it, I followed all the steps that I did back then but nothing is working. The vehicle is in a addon slot. I used the "police" meta file. I have changed the sirensetting's to 13 but nothing so far. I am trying to find the standard police carvariations line. So far I have tried: Changing the sirensetting to 13 Getting a carcols file that should work with rotors.

Have you installed ASI LOADER and OPENIV ASI from OpenIV? They are located in tools then ASI Manager.

Hello. I recently downloaded some texture mods for GTA V, LA Roads, LA Billboards and Realistic Headlights. After i downloaded and installed them i started LSPDFR, when i went to spawn in the police cars the default police car spawned. I tried to spawn my addon vehicles but they where not there. I have tried to reinstall OPENIV's ASI and the ASI Loader. Nothing is working so far. If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated. I am guessing it is because of the Independence day update, does anyone know what that update is named in the dlcpacks folder? EDIT: Turns out nothing that has been modded with OPENIV is working. Peds, Cars, Textures or anything is working.

I added the carvariations but i will try to change the sirensetting. Thanks EDIT: I belive i have a left over carvariation.meta file in another carpack. Do you know where the most commonly used .meta locations are? EDIT2: Found the left over carvariations.meta file, removed the police lines from it and it works great. Thanks!

Hello. I have a problem which is not answered in the FAQ. My problem is that all of the cops except me is wearing "random clothes" meaning that some may have for example a T-Shirt with only a holster and while some may just have a shirt and pants. So no cops have their uniforms on. I have looked everyone for a fix for this but have found none. Thanks
