So, i orginally bought GTA:IV on steam.

Played online with Snow (TomCat) using the steamclient. However, the mods just wouldn't work. So i extracted the entier GTA:IV Directory (15gb of it) to another 2TB Drive i have internally on my Computer.

However, when i try to install LCPDFR- It gives me an error of not being able to write the files. (Or so a google search showed)

+ Checked i have 'Ownership' of the drive

+ Checked i have Permission to write/read to the drive

However, when i try to remove the 'Read Only Attribute' on any folder within my GTA Folder it just fukin reappares after i apply it and re open the properties of the folder..

The actual files aren't read-only. Just the folders are... and the LCPDFR Setup fails everytime.

Googled Not being able to change Read-Only Attribute and didn't come up with much.. Tried a CMD line to change the Attribute but it only works on specific files (Not Folders!)

So yeah, pretty much i'm fucked until i can get this setup file working.... ;/

Any input would be much appritiated..

Running on Windows 7 Pro 64Bit

Makem.

I know it's frustrating but it's not the LCPDFR that is causing the problem, it's your PC....

Thanks for input anyhow :3
