but i didn't understand it i was copying from youtube and still doesn't work

ok..here is a step by step:

1) Go to your GTA 4 Folder

2) Open up the ELS.INI (you can open it with notepad)

3) Search for lines like these and read my descriptions* :D

[ POLICE2 ] *Name of the Car. So if the Car you wat to change is in Police Slot 1 it will be Police1

Active = 1 *Toggles if ELS is active or not at this vehicle

Halogen_Only = 0 *you will only have that if you use ELS V6. no need to worry about that

Color_Light1L = 0 *These are the Lights on the Left/ The Number stands for the Color 0=Red/1=Blue

Color_Light2L = 0

Color_Light3R = 0 *These are the Lights on the Right/ The Number stands for the Color 0=Red/1=Blue

Color_Light4R = 0

Color_Light7L = 3

Color_Light8C = 3

Color_Light9R = 3

Offst_SLights = 0

4) so what you want to do now is to change the color for one site by changing the Number...to make it Red/Blue it should look like this:

[ POLICE2 ]

Active = 1

Halogen_Only = 0

Color_Light1L = 1 *Now the entire left site will have the blue reflection

Color_Light2L = 1

Color_Light3R = 0 *While the right side still has the red reflection

Color_Light4R = 0

Color_Light7L = 3

Color_Light8C = 3

Color_Light9R = 3

Offst_SLights = 0

Hope you got it now xD

so what does the light7L light8c and light9r represent?

so what does the light7L light8c and light9r represent?

The secondary ELS colors, whatever the modder maps it to

Changing that value to blue only causes the environment lighting to be blue. It doesn't change the color of the actual light. I replied to that in the thread you made

ok taximan5 what about the rest of the els vehicles police patriot nstockade pstockade and noose?

works the same way.

just search for the lines with

[ NSTOCKADE ] [ PSTOCKADE ], ect...and edit it just the way you did it with police 1 and 2 xD

but all my cars are with a red els on the left and blue on the right and in the color i did the opposite

well then simply change it to the opposite way

Color_Light1L = 1 *This is the LEFT Side of the Lightbar

Color_Light2L = 1

Color_Light3R = 0 *This is the RIGHT Side

Color_Light4R = 0

now just switch the Color Number from the right Site to the Left...

Color_Light1L = 0

Color_Light2L = 0

Color_Light3R = 1

Color_Light4R = 1

c'mon it's not that hard xD
