Game Crash after RDE Install

So, going to try to make this short and sweet. Been wanting to play with the retro car pack. According to the maker, you have to have RDE and a downgraded gameconfig file. Downgraded, installed the corresponding RDE (I had it in my mods file on my computer). Went to load my GTA up to check, and it would go to the loading screen, load, then as soon as it's about to put me in game, it crashes. I've had this problem before with RDE, only got it to work once, and it worked fine until the game updated, been playing without it. Anyway, any help will be appreciated.
