After installing Realism dispatch enhanced in a clean mods folder, then installing EUP 7.5 on top of it, I'm getting a CTD during loading that says "ERR_FIL_PACK_1, please restart and reboot game".  After some doing searching on my own it seems that this error has to do with using too many addons, but since EUP even recommends using RDE alongside it I fail to understand where the problem lies, especially considering that EUP and RDE are the only mods I have installed in my mods folder. I tried installing the manual version of EUP, which removed the CTD issue, but on trying to load the EUP Menu I got a message saying that EUP Law and Order is not installed. So all in all, I'm at a complete loss. Anyone have any advice?

 

Edit: I feel that it's pertinent to add in my game runs with no issues when I'm only running RDE alongside LSPDFR and the numerous addons I have installed. The crash only starts after installing EUP Law & Order 7.5 with OpenIV.

i had same problem with realism dispatch as well, same errors. tryed fresh install too, still no avail. I remoed RDE and game runs fine now, it sucks, because it looked like a good mod, but have not found a workaround for that bug yet, will let you know if i come across anything to fix that.

i have the same error, i did manage to fix it before by installing them in a certain order but it seems to not work now.

It's unfortunate, as I would love to have RDE's realism and variety in my game, but there are more issues with it than just not working with EUP. I've had multiple crashes, bugs, and extreme lags spikes with RDE. So for the time being I've contented myself to using just EUP (which of the two is, in my opinion, the most essential).

Me too.  I've tried to take the files out, but maybe I'm missing something...

I just started using RDE.  I wish I knew about this crash issue before I started.  I spend almost my entire day off installing it, changing out some cars, etc.  Then I tried to put EUP back in my game and CRASH.

 

RDE looks like it would be a great add on to LSPDFR, but I need my EUP.  LOL

 

Hope there is a fix soon, although the new LSPDFR 0.4 may make this problem go away on it's own...

 

EDIT: So after a little more research today, I found on a forum somewhere, some instructions that worked. I did these steps and RDE and EUP work fine now.

1. Start with a clean "mods" folder.

2. Install the latest versions of EUP Menu and Law & Order FIRST

3. After EUP is installed and working, install RDE following the instructions included.

4. Customize as desired and enjoy.
