At this point, the Allahu akbar is fifty percent a meme and fifty percent genuine.  The people that are being stupid and messing around will yet it for shits and giggles.  In cases of actual terrorists screaming it, Allau akbar means "Allah is the greatest". It's pure religion.  It's the exact same as screaming "God/insert your god's name here is the greatest".  It sounds stupid when you're going to kill people, but it's a way to praise their God, even if their beliefs don't mirror that of their God.

I can't accurately answer that without offending all who are religious, and turning this into an inevitable debate about religion, so I'm going to back out of that.  You can PM me if you're curious.

Who can tell what does the God believe? Even if at least one of many religions was based on real events, it was so long ago. Think about how many time religion was abused by those in power to support their interest with the sacred texts being adjusted respectively.

 

This all matters only if we accept Gods actually exist and have beliefs. In that case Odin seems like a cool guy.
