Hi All,

 

I recently finally upgraded to the latest patches and such (still have a backup) but I obviously had to like all, re-install EUP. Everythings good but the officer, officer+1 and sgt patches don't show when I'm making my officer. I stupidly over-wrote the trainer settings so I have to start fresh with tatoos and outfits no worries. But the higher ranks on the collars show as normal, its just the patches. I've uninstalled and re-installed no to avail.

 

Has anyone experienced this and if so, a fix? Or is this a bug?

This is a bug i have the same problem. Don't know of a fix

Same problem here. Was hoping to get an answer.  This post is rather old. Maybe no fix?

To this day, I've never found a fix. *shrugs* Lol.

Found one small thing that you can try.  Not sure why this works, but if you switch to a motorcycle uniform,  for Blaine County for example.  You can apply the rank patches.  Now try going back to LSPD, BCSO, LSSD any of these and try and apply the patches.  Now they should work.  I am sure its a bug, but I did manage to install Skin Control 2.1 and I was able to save each of my favorite style of uniforms that way and  it also saves all patches as well.  Hope this helps a bit.

This got me super excited Benzo! Unfortunately, no luck though.  Thanks for the suggestion all the same.  Hopefully this bug will be fixed someday soon.

It must be a bug with the latest version, I recently rebuilt my mods folder and had to re-download and install it and this began to happen.

I had the same problem, then I realized when I was in offline mode so the game does not update. It some how prevents the patches from showing up and when I have offline mode off, the patches reappear. If you are playing in offline mode they are not going to show. Hope this helps!

You're right man, they show perfectly fine when I don't block my game from going online.  Interesting... I wonder if there is a way around this issue?

This is interesting.  I never thought about the concept of being offline or online.  I do play the game online and sometimes offline for single player.  Meaning of course being with Steam is what I mean.  I will see if I can recreate this problem. 


EDIT:  Okay it has been a few years,  thought I would touch back on this old topic.  Nope, still not fixed.  We have great patches for LSIA, LSSD, BCSO and several others, but the Los Santos Police Department, still to this day does not have a patch lol
