I've read about issues with carbon monoxide leaks in the past on the FPIU, but never realized it was this widespread. At least 20 officers have received serious injuries due to leaks in Austin alone, and it has been attributed to causing several crashes across the country.

 

 

2011 through 2017? Holy shit.  Lets think about just how many people that could total out to.  I'm surprised the amount of complains and injuries aren't far more.

 

I'm kinda baffled as to how this happened for so long. Oh wait, no I'm not.  Ford didn't want to recall their vehicles and lose stocks.

It's only happened on 2011's to 2015's according to post from Washington State Patrol and other departments.

Either way, that is still a lot of people, and flabbergasting that it'd even last a year as a problem. Ford should've been on top of it.

Or the mustang for that matter. Also, isn't this the same company that had a problem with it cars airbags deploying improperly? 

I always hated these Ford Exploders. They should have kept the Crown Vic. But really, all cars are gonna have one major problem or another. Remember when those Crown Victorias had the problem with the fuel tank in rear end collisions?
