Is there a way to adjust the amount of traffic AI that spawns? The amount that spawns in my game, especially in the city, is ridiculous. 

 

SideNote: Slowly learning modding for some time (knowledgeable novice lol), so I'm not sure if I adjusted a file or installed a plugin that may have increased the level of AI vehicles that appear.

never really had a problem with too many peds or ai vehicles that spawn, i actually found it to be to little lol but the mod that i use to change the game config also has options to lower it below the GTAV normal... so you may want to try one of the game configs in this mod that is lower than the GTA standard.

Try adjusting the "Population Density" slider in the graphics settings.

Yup. This. I actually turned mine all the way down for the same reason. It also keeps the pursuits from being such a mess because of how the AI love to run into all the traffic.

 This worked perfect. And I agree, pursuits are much better and more realistic.
