NEED HELP! THANK YOU!

Hello (i am terribly sorry about starting a new topic i know how bad it can be on forums)

 

I have recently installed LSPDFR and a few other mods as i've always wanted to play it the only problem i have is i suffer from mental health problems and i find it terribly difficult to follow things such as installation etc and as i have heard this is a fantastic community so i thought the best best would to be ask for help the things i have recently installed are.

 

LSPDFR

LSPDFR+

Arrest Manager

Traffic Policer 

ALPR

British Policing Script

Scirpt Hook V

The Trainer

Assorted Callouts

and a UK Vehicle pack contains (Audi, V70 etc)

 

The reason for asking for help is i have managed to get a few things working although somethings work in small portions however im not sure if its the mod, my own doing or this whole Key binding and im struggling on how to do the Config settings for each thing but when im in game i can not manage to arrest anyone or even pull people over, things i should surely be able to do? i've tried everything but get no where and if i cant do those two main things i cant do much can i? however if anyone is nice enough to talk and explain to me i'd be extremely grateful for your help.

Hi there.

 

When in game, are you going to a police station to go on duty, or forcing duty via F4?

I am starting my duty yes and selecting my vehicle, then all the plugins say "successfully loaded" but as i pointed out i can not manage to do certain things, thank for your response! :)

When in a police vehicle, make sure you're right on the bumper of the AI's car, and press shift (or A if on controller).  You should hear a sound and see a notification that the target is blipped.  In terms of arresting people, you can do this either by standing close to them and holding E/d pad right, or pull out your gun, aim at them, and do the same thing.  The suspect will get face down on the ground if you aim a weapon at them and take them down, so you'll need to get close to them, and wait for the prompt to place them into custody.

Right okay that may explain that one then, ill try that one out later see if i can get any success out of that, see i have tried it by using E and holding it too so maybe i use my right arrow instead then yes? thank you for your help, i extremely appreciate your help also if i make a traffic stop will i automatically get dialogue and options etc just out of curiosity with having the Traffic Policer installed :)

Unfortunately no.  Right arrow on the keyboard, to my knowledge doesn't do anything. On keyboard, it has to be E unless you changed GTA V keybindings.

 

Yes, you will. Once you're out of your car and you approach the driver or passenger's door of the stopped vehicle, you will be prompted to hit E or whichever button, which will bring up the menu.

Just been playing and its all working fantastically now cant thank you enough for your help, appreciate that, it was the E key and i was not getting close enough to vehicles to issue the stop but i did not know you had to shift first either so i've learned that, just out of curiosity im not sure if the mods i have support it but do you know how to call a tow truck for a vehicle? and if you know of any other good British mods i should run alongside what i have again thank you very much! :)

You can either install Police Smart Radio, which has the tow truck, coroner, and a few other useful features, or use the road management key that is with Traffic Policer.  I think[i/] the default keybindings for it is left control + F6, but I can't recall off the top of my head.  If that doesn't work, just open the traffic policer INI and search "road".

 

For the last part, the only thing I could really offer in that regard are some unmarked British vehicles.

Just a quick question for anyone i want to install this but i do not want it to replace the vehicle its destined to i want it to Replace POLICE4 which is Unmarked in game does anyone know if that is actually possible or will it not work at all?

You can replace POLICE4 with a marked unit without any troubles. :)  If the vehicle you want includes a meta or carvariations, you will need to install those.

Lovely so even though it wants me to install this to a different directory i can just rename the files? do i change the ELS thing for the vehicle to POLICE4 too?

As long as the meta and handling line fits it, you could make any police model any of the POLICE, POLICE 2, etc.  Yes, change the name of the ELS VCF.  It needs to match the car it's associated with.

Hello, im back again (sorry) i have recently installed ELS to use with ELS vehicles as its far superior but since i have when i pull someone over now if i want them to change there stopping position i used to click SPACE but now it no longer works because i have to use Y but Y conflicts with calls popping up and i also can no longer hold E to stop Peds when not in a vehicle i do not know what has caused that conflict any advice?

ELS shouldn't cause keybinds to change or mess up. It does add a function for T and Y, though.  Did you ever change your keybindings? By default, space bar is not the key to make a stopped car move positions.

As far as i know i have touched absolutely nothing, SPACE was to sound my horn to make pulled vehicles move to a new location however it no longer seems to function as it should same for ordering suspects to stop i used to Hold E when unarmed but that also no longer works :(

Space bar should not have that keybind naturally.  Have you changed any of the GTA keybinds in the options menu?

As far as i know i have not? should i just go onto the game and reset my Keybinds to default?

Since you have traffic policer installed you can use the mimic feature which is Crtl+Q, and the car you've blipped for a stop will copy your moves

until you hit Ctrl+Q again so that you can initiate a perfect pull over.

 

As for the conflicts with you asking suspects to freeze I'm afraid I have no answer for that. After you figure it out I'd advise you make yourself a

"cheat sheet" and write down any key binds you know and write down others as you learn them in time. After a while you will no longer need

the sheet because everything you do in a patrol will be from muscle memory.
