what do you think

I'm familiar with the Alienware systems, but not the Aleinware. Is that some sort of new German manufacturer, or German version of Dell's gaming sector?

Of course, you're free to purchase whatever you like, but be advised that you that you can build (and even purchase) a better computer for less than what Alienware wants to charge. I speak from experience, I made the mistake of spending $1,300 on the old Alienware 13. I thank God every day that I purchased the warranty plan along with the system because I've had non-stop issues with this laptop. The first issue that I had, it wouldn't start. I called up Alienware support and they sent out some local mediocre technician that replaced my motherboard and wiped the system. It solved the problem but shit, you know? I lost everything, from my Grand Theft Auto V to my Arma 3, to my system settings... everything. A few months later I had an issue with the sound, contacted Alienware support, had a mediocre technician (the same one lol), and he replaced a few parts, which again caused my system to wipe. Once again, lost everything, right after reinstalling it all from the time prior.

It doesn't end there, friend. Just this past week I've had an issue with my system crashing at the Windows 10 login screen. The system would boot up normally and crash seconds after getting to the login screen. I called Alienware support, and the man over the phone walked me through some troubleshooting steps. He concluded that, yet again, my system needed to be reset. I'm in the process of installing all of my files on an external storage so that I don't have to deal with this anymore.

Moral of the story, I don't recommend purchasing an Alienware system man. I've had a horrible experience dealing with Alienware, and I'm set to sell this laptop and build my own PC. It will be cheaper, more powerful, and more personalized to my own taste. Do what you like, but just consider so that you don't end up disappointed, because Alienware is offering me about $50 for my system, and I only bought it about a year ago.

no no, alienware is not a system its a company. they make desktops gaming computers and gaming lab tops. i am looking for desktops and i want to know which aienware product would be the best for gta, lspdfr, colony survival, gta with other mods for lspdfr, and maybe player unknowns battlegrounds. the Alpha the aurora or the area 51. i heard that the aurora can support games on maxed out settings and still be over 60 fps, But i wanted to know if it was good.

When people say "Alienware system," they mean "a system made by Dell under the Alienware brand." TheDivineHustle is saying that the Alienware line of systems is generally overpriced and, in his experience, had poor tech support available. If you want a high-end desktop computer and want to save money, you should generally look at building your own instead of buying a pre-built one. The Alienware line in particular is also notorious for even higher prices than most other brands. I can't speak to their tech support (never owned an Alienware myself), but since one of the main advantages of buying a pre-built computer is support, bad support makes it even less worth the premium.

You buy individual parts and you put it together yourself. Numerous sites will help you build a custom order, PCPartPicker etc. Then numerous YouTube videos show you how to put it together.

can i have a computer person build me a custom computer? is that ok?
