Not going to lie the only reason I bought GTAV for PC was specifically for LSPD and the potential for the mods. What I honestly do not understand is why Rockstar has not taken the initiative and turned around and made their own official mods or servers to do the same thing for profit. There is obviously enough of a demand to warrant it and apparently it is not that hard to code into their existing engine. Making an official Mod pack with the base mod and call outs for $10 for a Police one and a separate one for Fire & EMS. Then they could turn around and charge for some kick ass looking design packs IE Chicago/FDNY/LA style Fire & EMS packs for $2-3 each. Other then maybe their licensing costs which they could get away with like they do everything else by using the base design and calling it something else this could literally be another way to print cash for them. 

While I am not condoning cash grabbing corporate greed does anyone else find it odd they have not done something like this?

Entire thing basically started with those projects. They got a letter saying to stop production of the liberty city import. And OpenIV was caught in it.
