lspdFR's stance with new modding nazis

For the mean time I can deal playing lspdfr with default stuff it isnt TOO bad, but what if RAGEhook also gets "shut down"? Is anybody else worried about this as Scripthook may also be one to go down as well!

It won't. From the looks of it, Take-Two felt that OpenIV gave some sort of advantage to users (Which it didn't but that's for a different topic). If Take-two wanted to go after the other two, they probably would have received C&Ds already

understandable, but it just seems like only taking down one major modding tool if they are really "about it" is necessary. Hate to say it but I would expect more things to go. FiveM, RAGEhook, scripthook and more, it just seems as though it was testing the waters taking down OIV

I am upset as everyone, but do you realize how many 13k people are compared to the whole of the console community? They really won't care that a couple thousand people wont buy their games. Just gotta think about how large the modding community is compaired to everyone else

not enough to instantly say WE NEED TO STOP. 10,000 people will not make a difference when 500 million people bought and play online + shark cards. Do you honestly think that with such a small number of people stop playing gta or whatever it is will make them change their mind? dought it, but hey. it's whatever.

new statement  rockstar

"Take-Two's actions were not specifically targeting single player mods. Unfortunately OpenIV enables recent malicious mods that allow harassment of players and interfere with the GTA Online experience for everybody. We are working to figure out how we can continue to support the creative community without negatively impacting our players."

We are following up with further questions for Rockstar to try to clarify its position and what may come next for OpenIV and GTA modding.

Look at the reviews for GTA V on Steam, and dare tell me again that 13k people are nothing compared to the rest.

Steam's system is based on the majority of reviews given within a certain time period. I believe 30 days. A group of probably about 100 people could change a game's recent rating score quite efficiently depending on the rate of positive reviews given in that time period. Yet, we were able to get plenty of word out to the media who as we all know, know how to do their job. So it's definitely accomplished a lot of progress, but nothing landmark.
