Missing vehicles.awc

Featured Replies

So i downloaded a new siren, and i didnt really like it. So i thought i just could delete the "vehicles.awc" like you do when you delete vehicle models you dont like. So i did that, and of course i noticed that my siren wasnt working.

I have tried to "verify integrity of game cache" and it still didnt work. And i tried to find a site where i could download it back, but i havent found any.

So i think i have to reinstall my game, but without losing all my mods such as "LSPDFR" and vehicle models and scripts, so how do i do that, IF there is not an other solution.

As in a mods folder, so you don't mess up your regular game files.

Ahaaa.... nope.. :( Thats why i think i should reinstall my game and make a mods folder.. :/ anything else i can do??

Have you tried running the game, with out Ragepluginhook.exe? Since you don't use a mods folder, the GTA V Launcher will actually redownload the default files, or it should, and then you can start over that way, and use a mods folder this time!.

Hm, then you'll just have to reinstall the game unfortunately.

try downloading another siren, otherwise reinstall game

Never even thought about that. If you install another siren, it normally comes with all of the sounds for the Vehicles.awc.  good call.

Is your vehicles.awc over the size, I wanna say if it's over 16.2MB it'll mute sounds.

I do believe its 16.2 or 16.8, but either way, try a different siren, because that pack has a lot of options. Just try a simple siren back when they first came out to see if it works.
