Hello, I recently tried to play with old version of the game, so I installed the old RPH version aswell, but when I launch RAGE, then in the game, i'm getting an error saying that I need to update to the recent version, there is 2 options "Cancel to quit the game" or "OK", but I tried both and it make me quit the game..so if someone have a solution to fix this.

Maybe you can help with this, @xSklzxDark.

When connected to wifi it will automatically prompt you to update

 

Turn off wifi and load GTA V

 

It will allow you to play in offline mode

Use the exe's I've given you to backtrack you to 1011 and download the 0.52 version of RAGEPluginHook.

I tried that solution, but when I launch rage then it's saying "taking longer than usual" then i'm getting a steam error saying that GTA V is already trying to update

With the 0.52 version of RPH, I don't have "Save and launch", I only have "Save and close"

I am not using steam though

@Voq, click "Save and Close" and then reopen RAGEPluginHook.exe without holding down shift so it starts the game up.

Does anyone have a 1.0.11 RAGE backup they could upload so we can revert to that?

I get this error when I launch RPH 0.52..

You have 1011 and only RPH 0.51 will work with it. Download it and put it in your game's folder. Whn you turn on the game, make sure you are offline. If it crashes because it says "it's taking too long" it means you have to click "offline" on the Social Club window that pops up before you turn it on and voila.

Unfortunately I don't have the time to click on the rockstar window cause it dissapear immediately and then in the game I get an error saying that the service of gta update is unavailable, something like that and it close the game when I click ok...

Wow that's weird. Are you playing on a SSD drive? I am asking because I am wondering why does it go away so quick... hmmm. Or maybe actually it opens up for but hides behind any other window on your screen or minimizes on startup and you don't see it?

Is it a steam window? It looks so. Make sure steam is also turned on in offline mode. I do it this way before I play LSPDFR:

1. I turn off my Ethernet Card (go offline).

2. Then I turn on Steam. It says it cannot log into my account so I click "offline".

3. Then I start RPH (GTA5 with mods).

4. Then there's the Social Club window that also cries about having no internet connection and I press Offline there too.

Are you doing everything in this order? Is steam 100% in offline mode?

That's so freaking weird. It should all work on 1011 with the 0.51 RPH. Are you sure you are on 1011 version and that it did not update? Or maybe the update wasn't finished at some point?

I see. But maybe the update.rpf is changed to the latest version? You can check it by looking at the creation/modification dates on the update.rpf file in teh folder "update".

Yep, it was updated, but not the gta5.exe file. You have to downgrade it to 1011 version. I have 1011 and I could upload it for you but I have rather slow internet connection so It would take some time. Let me see how long exactly.
