I didn't even connect my LCPD:FR account and was just playing regularly.Did a normal traffic stop and after it,got a random world-event.I was surprised to see a biker coming at full speed towards me,an option popped up on screen "Press E to join Pursuit".I rushed to my Suburban and started chasing him.Then a Taurus came out of the nearby street and rammed his bike against a taxi.He fell down.Meanwhile,other units arrived and they compelled him to surrender.He was busted.I know it might sound crazy,but it just happened! Seemed like I was playing 0.95RC3.When I looked at the lower right end of the screen,the "LCPD:FR 0.95 RC2" logo was not there!

That's a pursuit-in-progress random world event. They are in RC2 but are very rare.

RC2R2 was released on 16th Jan.I'm playing it since then.Today is 30th May.Is it that *rare* to occur once in 4 and-a-half months? Its almost as you'll get to play it once in the lifetime of your current version.Because RC3 is actually near arrival. :whistling:

As far as I know, it depends on the "maxnumberofworldevents" in the config file, as well as your vehicle density settings.

You got a point.I realized a slight increase in no. of cars/traffic just before it happened.It was a monday morning and people might be rushing to their offices.I've just injected a realistic popcycle into my game.

Still,I'm not hoping it'd re-show up anytime soon.But it was indeed fun.

I've had one or two random pursuits. Tip: If you hit Alt+F12 and click "Force World Event", you'll frequently get a world event pursuit (though it's not random, since you forced it).

I only had 1 in like 2 weeks, i did have a second one but not counting it as before i couldn't even join the cop shot the guy lol
