So after the latest patch, I waited until I saw Rage post on Twitter that their new update was ready for download. I downloaded it, installed and when I try to go into the game. It seems to stall at the load screen...Here is what it says

 

"Velocity limit removed"

"Patching code"

"Waiting for game initialization"

"initializing core"

"Completing interoperability" 

 

"Loading Story Mode"

"Loading and Populating Game World"

"Loaded plugin LSPD First Response"

 

 

In the lower right side of the screen it has "Loading story mode with Rage Plugin Hook" and the circle is spinning.....

 

Thoughts???

 

you need to update your mods folder with the newest update rpf, warning, unless you export all your modded cars from patchday13's vehicles so you can just tos in to the patchday14's vehicles rpf, you will have to redo all your cars and thats a pain if you install then delete the files from the download

Latest GTA V Patch, possible fixes:

 

1. Download new GTA V patch.
2. Download new Rage Hook Plugin.
3. Download new Scripthook.
4. In OpenIV, go into 'Edit Mode' and it will prompt you on screen to upgrae your update.rpf. Do this.
5. Download and install a new gameconfig.xml file for this version of the update (until RDE, etc. provide their own fix). Try https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gameconfig-for-1-0944, and install 'folder 0' as per the readme instructions. This allows more vehicle and ped slots.
5. Reinstall anything that you had edited in update.rpf.

 

Have combined a list of advice from around the forums so thanks for those who contributed. Attempt the above to try and get crash free! Note that some call outs will not work until update by their creators.

Try OpenIV > ASI Manager > Uninstall ASI Manager

So I tried this.....now it crashes every time I try to load it. 

 

try running rph as admin
