Lspdfr closes at first emergency call

Featured Replies

Each time i begin my patrol , the first call make my game crash.

I only have ''Assorted callouts''  / ''Police radio''  and ''Simple trainer''. I don't have any custom cars , textures or uniforms installed.

I disabled my Avast and my firewall.. game keep crashing at the first call.  I look into my graphic driver ... i got a Gtx 1060 6gb... all my drivers are up to date.16833216_10154203917301771_1871824223_o.thumb.jpg.9cb5498f03f71a19ac5491ae50c41d7e.jpg58aca3ddae081_16880184_10154201720596771_826777262_o-Copie.thumb.jpg.9c9ec2d4afe721679aea5267f4d8bd55.jpg16880679_10154203895946771_748444997_o.thumb.jpg.6e04f089a1e9123ae6504be23a030cda.jpg16930722_10154203895931771_766119789_o.thumb.jpg.8aa893db0e2e864f45ffe7d0f95dc113.jpg16930735_10154203896051771_1019815215_o.thumb.jpg.236f9bd5f8fee904b0baa91dc3a8df81.jpg16930754_10154203920186771_79831080_o.thumb.jpg.3349f2be61c52f936492f389631603e0.jpg16930754_10154203920186771_79831080_o.thumb.jpg.3349f2be61c52f936492f389631603e0.jpg

Remove assorted call outs and see if the game works, if a call is triggered and your games crashes it's most likely that call out. Check if scriptv and scripthook is up to date.

I removed it.. crash at the first call when i press X or not.

It could be ragehook/LSPDFR also. Make sure they are BOTH up to date.

Might be game version too? un compatible with that rage/lspdfr version.

Ragehook and LSPDFR are up do date.  My steam updated Gta5 an hour ago... might be the problem ? Do i need to revert the game version or click on backup version ? Game is supported tho. 16910938_10154204042461771_234002184_o.thumb.jpg.2d8bf98159634478c9d5c8c42c7f4113.jpg

Can we see a clearer view of the screen that says "RAGE Plugin Hook has detected a crash in the game"? There is more on that screen that is of interest.

As you might guess, I make PeterUCallouts. I love working to bring LSPDFR players the kind of callouts that strike a good balance between realism and fun and are stable & varied!

First picture its the beginning and the other its the end off the crash report. Do you need all the text between ?

I havent seen something like that before and I am no expert to this, but heres my point of view:

What the exception message says basically is "I tried to write an object with an Object Writer but the object isnt marked as an writable/loadable object".

It is caused by SlimDX wich is a libary delivered with RPH. So as you said RPH is up to date, that SlimDX.dll should be the newest version.

What I suggest to do now:

1) Delte everything related to GTA V modding.

2) Go to Steam again, open GTA V properties, and let Steam check on your game files (This might take some minutes). It will redownload corrupted files.

3) Once GTA V is ready, play to check if everything works.

4) Disable any antivirus software if u have something running

5) Go ahead and download LSPDFR and RPH again.

6) Install both, check if the game & basic LSPDFR is running.

7) Go ahead and download your plugins, install them, check again.

Let us know what happens.

As with your other support topic, I'm going to suggest disabling the DirectX Hook for RPH.

Please start Rage Plugin Hook while holding down Shift. This will bring up the Options.

Under Advanced Settings, please try ticking "Disable DirectX Hook" and then Save and launch.

1- I deleted everything related to modding

2- check the integrity of the game with steam ( Everything was ok)

2.5- Launch normal GTA5, running perfectly

3-disable my AV and Firewall

4- redownloaded LSPDFR and RAGEHOOK

5- Fresh install of both. (No other pluggins or callout installed)

6-Start ragehook everything is perfect

7- Spawn at franklin's house , take my car to the nearest PD , choose my character and my car.

8- I started to patrol.. press X to the incoming call... GAME CRASH again.. same message error.

9-I don't know if that can be the issue.. but my Headset (Steelseries siberia 150) is giving me some trouble with my in-game sound with the ''normal GTA5'' and the GTA5 launched with rage too. I unplug my Headset before all the steps so i im running gta5 without sound.

It's conceivable that the lack of a sound output device might be related to this... after all — dispatch audio will be played as soon as you hit X to get (pretty much) any callout.

Are you able to plug in any other speakers/headphones before GTA launches at all to see if the crash goes away?

EDIT: Looking more closely at your screenshot... it definitely mentions "DirectSound".

If it is just his headset I dont see why that would be affecting LSPDFR. Does your monitor have speakers, or other forms of external sound? if so try switching them. Don't see how that could be the issue, but hey.

As soon as a callout is offered, the dispatch audio plays. This is when the exception occurs. The exception stack trace (very bottom of the second screenshot) shows the constructor for SlimDX.DirectSound.DirectSound.

I'm pretty sure...

I can see where you are coming from, but i guess we need more information. I took his statement as "my headset isnt playing the audio (IE it works on other applications, but not gta, or i can use it to listen to music). Not as my audio is broken because of his headset.

Ok , i plug my Beat's headset.. the sound stay in the game and i can play now. I can press X and Y to take the call.  I think that my Siberia is causing some problems with LSPDFR.
