When I am playing as a park ranger, or in general am just patrolling in the wilderness and call for backup, all the local patrols that respond are my LSPD units. Im not quite sure if this is an issue on my part, or lspdfr's backup system. Can anyone help me with this?

I pretty much created Custom Backup specifically so I could have Park Rangers respond as backup when patrolling in wilderness areas :)

Its because your patrolling the wilderness. When you hit local backup it'll get the closest unit/station per se. So if your in paleto itll call for Sheriffs where as if your just on the invisble line between Los Santos and the San Andreas line and your in the city itll call a LSPD unit

 

So when your in the wilderness its going to call for park ranger

Well no... LSPDFR calls for what ever vehicles and ped you set in the backup file. The default local backup only calls for police, 2 and 3 then the sheriff cruiser. You can customise this to include your modded vehicles but Custom Backup expands on this and makes the backup system enhanced by allowing you to customise pretty much everything rather then a simple ped model and vehicle.
