ELS Lightbar black on sheriff2 slot

Featured Replies

This has been the problem for a while, I thought that maybe installing another model with another ELS file would fix the issue, but the lightbar on the car still turns out black. It has been like this on 3 models that I have tried that all have lights bars on the top and instead of the blue and red tint, it just turns black.

Go into your trainer, then to Vehicle Mods, then change the window tint until you can see the lights.

I thought this wouldn't be a problem because my older models worked on the sheriff2 slot but it did work. Thank you...

This might also help do it permanently rather then you going into the trainer each time. In the vehicles.meta find the line for sheriff2 that says diffusetint and replace the value with this <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />

Different models come with different tints. It has nothing to do with the slot.

I don't understand the point of signatures on this site. What the fuck is the point?

sigh I don't come back here but sometimes some statements just make me.
@Caramel, if changing the tint settings in the trainer works for them, then your advice is perfectly valid and something that I do myself.

Ok thanks for clarifying that :) I thought that the changing the tints would work no matter what model as from what I know there are only certain tints available. So changing this to the suggested option would work as it did for me plus others.

Yes, some vehicles come with tints, but that's only because they have the modified window texture.  This does not effect the lightbar.  To permanently disable the tints on lightbars, I would do what @Caramel suggested.

Self-built Mini ITX PC: 4.5GHz i5 6600k OC'ed, 16GB DDR4, GTX 1070 8GB SC, Corsair H50 Liquid Cooled

Does this also works with the windows tints? I mean, the lightbar is good but the windows are completly black, other times Im getting the windows good but the lightbar black like you guys
