The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Does not progress past "Loaded Plugin LSPD First Response"

So whenever I launch Rage Hook, everything initially loads fine...game launches, logs me into Steam, does the velocity limit removed, loading story mode, loading and populating game world... and then, nothing. It just hangs there. Occasionally it will say lspd first response.dll has crashed?? At the bottom it says Loaded Plugin "LSPD first response" - and then it does not progress any further. I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL just to get out of the game. I have been able to get LSPDFR to work in the past - just not sure what I'm doing wrong now. I'm open to any help anyone would be kind enough to provide. Thanks! Ian

Please provide the following:

Screenshots of your Plugins folder, your LSPDFR folder (in your directory), and the second LSPDFR folder that's inside of your Plugins folder.

Also please upload your latest Rage log, found in the Logs folder in your directory.

I don't understand the point of signatures on this site. What the fuck is the point?

I can't seem to get past loading story mode. I have updated rageplugin.

 

What I have noticed is that even if I run the game normally, it is loading vers 877 not 944. I have deleted GTA V.exe and tried playgtav - it downloads them as an update, launches, but is still trying to load 877. 

 

Getting a wee bit frustrated now! Probably down to me but trying to figure it out is so ARRRRGGGH,

I seem to be having the same problem as well. I updated RPH to the latest version. When I go to run RPH it starts loading the story mode and then it stays stuck on the loading screen. Any help would be appreciated!

same here im stuck on the loading screen

ok guys i may have found a fix i got my game to load...  update.rpf in the mods>update>update.rpf< Basically, once the game updates, copy and paste the new update.rpf into your mods folder and that should fix some of the issues.

What do you mean exactly? I tried that, but I'm still stuck on the loading screen. I then have to open task manager to quit out of gta5. A window then opens up suggesting that I run gta5 in safe mode. When I try safe mode without running RPH it just crashes when loading story mode.

he means take the new update.rpf and put it in the mods folder. I did that then installed my mods and now the game crashes before it launches

thats werid i had the lstuck on the loading screen thing then i i coped the update.rpf  and now its fine

yeah I tried that, still not working for me either. Although my game isn't crashing, but its just stuck on the loading screen.

Well I solved the problem on my side. I ended up taking out the mods folder from my GTA directory and the game started fine. I'm going to attempt to make a new mods folder and see what happens. I'll edit this post when I get my results.

 

Edit: No longer works. Get the loading screen forever again even with the mods folder out on the directory.

Had the same issue as IanKC, got my V to work.

The key is your \mods\update\update.rpf file. It seems it’s updated with every major V update, so you need to update it in your “mods” folder too.

In my case, it was relatively easy. After updating it I just reinstalled the mods that had it edited and downloaded the new gameconfig.xml (I use the one by Game68240 from https://www.gta5-mods.com/).Everything works as it should now, even the vehicle mod I use and the EUP.
