They are awesome! One of the best I've heard in my entire GTA series career. Needless to say the absence of my two favorite sirens leaves me wondering if you have thought about making: Federal Signal Smart Siren, and Code 3 Mastercom B.

code 3 is on my list yes by request. A PSE series to be exact and a V-con. I've considered the Smart Siren yes but am unsure on it since i've seen a few around (which aren't that great if you ask me) But i'm debating on making the Smart Siren at the very moment. I'm just going to work my way down the list i have of personal releases and requests to work on as of now.

All your preview videos involve playing around with the siren and sound on top (like radio). I get you want to present it, but, at the end of each video, can you just run each tone for a couple loops? Say, do a constant wail for 2 cycles, THEN a few yelps, THEN priority, THEN airhorn. As it is, it's very hard to actually find out what the siren sounds like.

The tones do run many cycles during the video, everything you see is well planned on what were doing and what is heard for how long. What the siren sounds like in the game as someone is playing with it as if responding should be a good enough idea for someone to make a decision if they appeal to them or not. As of now our editors method has been effective and enjoyed by many.

The issue is that it doesn't run unbroken, with no sound over it. For example, the wail is frequently interrupted, and I often have trouble finding a full cycle. The main reason I watch is just to hear the tones without having to install. I'm not saying "don't do the other stuff", but at the end, playing JUST the tones would be nice.

EDIT: For example, on your most recently released siren, I couldn't hear when the wail started repeating itself. I'm sure you know that there is often a "seam" there, where the game loops the sound. That's one of the main things I listen for.

Also, in that video, it seemed that there were two sirens. One moderately-pitched one (seen at the start), and one high, plateauing one (at the end, on the fire truck). Why were there two?

Yes there are 2 sirens included in the download one is the standard tones offered by the siren and the other tones are the alternative tones offered by the siren as well which can all be swiched by the user of the siren in real life and in this case in game.

How do you make this kind of mod? i downloaded 2 siren wav files and renamed them so they have the same name as the original ones but still sparkiv says its wrong. How do you do it?

If you have trouble making your own mods, you should open up a new thread asking for support instead of asking in an author's release thread, as this is used for him/her to release mods and receive feedback for them.

But anyways, you cannot import individual sound files with SparkIV; it is only used to import/export .ivaud sound archives for the game, like "horns.ivaud," for example. If you want to import your own .wav files, then you'll need another tool like GTA-IVaud to edit the sound archives, and then use SparkIV to replace it in the game.

UPDATE:

Hopefully today if i get the chance to push it out, i have code 3 mastercom PSE series (Toronto pd uses some of these) it is ready to go, siren works fine the only issue i see is the airhorn, i've tried several times and it seems to always give me an issue. I will release the sirens regardless and consider them a BETA release to the public while i attempt to work on the airhorn some more. Stay tuned for an update.

For those who aren't aware what the siren sounds like here is a video:

Bad news guys, the editor is having some technical difficulty with his machine so the release will be postponed until tomorrow hopefully mid-day. I apologize for any inconvenience that may have occurred.

Hopefully you all understand.

Reguards,
