AS-350 Ecureuil (unlocked)

Well folks, I heard some voices telling me to finally do the AS-350 goddammit! :D Anyway, here it is. It has full LOD levels for better optimization, working lights and gauges (instruments), breaking glass, burn effects, blurred rotor textures and all that fancy stuff. The standard download comes with LAPD and CHP livery. Secondary download for Pinellas County paintjob. Third link are layered .psd templates for you to create your own skins more easily. Be aware though, those are not that easy to work with, I suggest taking one of the existing skins for references regarding letter positions, etc...

Model can be edited however you want and feel free to re-publish it. Just keep the credits (Original model by Nemeth Designs, converted by SkylineGTRFreak) and we're good to go. Be advised: Only the ..._hi model includes the detailed cockpit, so don't just edit the normal model and wonder why you're cockpit looks so low-res.

Well, I have done this on request of many people active in the community and I don't want an inbox with PMs à la "Can you add ... to the heli?" or "Can you give me the files?". So I just went ahead and tada... If someone claims he did it all himself, the flame squad will be there soo enough hahaha. No really, if I do emergency vehicles I'm always planning on giving them out unlocked, as the dedicated community knows more about all the special equipment stuff than I do.

It'd be nice if more people were like you. Yet I understand people who actually have reason when they decide not to. Which isn't many people.

I can understand those people. I mean, my plane mods are still all locked, so I am partly the same. But you know, I've seen people ripping stuff left and right. And before someone then uses a badly ripped mesh of a mod I previously made, it's better to just give it out for peeps to edit. And only making mods for myself is a big no-no. I feel the need to share this, as I myself am not really "playing" with these mods and would just show them off. I feel no satisfaction in that.

But then again, most of my base models are from other games or bought, so I can understand where people who are doing their ENTIRE work from scratch come from.

Exactly. I appreciate the contribution(s) man. Good work.

Thanks for your wonderful masterpiece. Now when i look up in the sky and see your AS-350 circling above, it spooks me a little bit :P Do you by any chance have a police EC-120 helicopter ?

the sheriff skin isnt in the pack ;o how do i get it

There is an AS-350 he did with Elope with an LA County Sheriff's livery, but the .ytd file also has LAPD and CHP liveries in it as well. You could use that model for the polmav and shemav (And whatever other Law Enforcement choppers are in RDE. I can't run RDE cuz it crashes my game when I try to run it with WOV) and just delete the textures you don't want those particular choppers to use
