Can't select vehicle from garage

Featured Replies

So i tried to install Double Doppler's BMW E60 Met Police ARV mod. I ended up installing it in the wrong folder (he said the wrong one). I ended up deleting al the police_yft police.ytd etc files from x64e.rpf/gtav/vehicles.rpf. I then found out that i should be installing it in patchday3ng. I did. Now, I can't select any vehicle from the garage. After choosing my ped, I am just left with a black screen and the loading symbol. And I get errors like invalid transport reigons.xml reverting to default values? Please help, it's made the game unusuable. I have tried using Simple Native Trainer but it won't let me change my ped. Please help, thanks, Alex

When you say backups do you mean a mods folder?

backups: noun: backing up your files before installing so that if situation arises (like this for example) you can put the original files back in and still be able to play...

you probably need to delete the whole RPF and verify cache if on steam version, steam will then redownload the file so your game will work. I dont know how its done on retail/rockstar versions... and yes, mods folder is a smart way to go because you still have the entire game as a backup if you install files wrong in the mods folder... if you get what Im trying to say here...

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MODS..THEY'RE CALLED READMEs   AKA read me for a reason

lspdfr plugin or GTA V crashed? find your Rage log in your gta folder, usually found after ragepluginhook.exe and open it, hit Ctrl a, open pastebin.com, select new paste, hit Ctrl v, get the link after you pasted it and supply that with your issue in the specific mod topic, it helps the developer diagnose the problem you may have.

If you deleted those vehicles from the mods folder version of x64e.rpf, then you'll just have to copy over the original unmodded one to your mods folder, and possibly reinstall whatever was installed in there to begin with. If you deleted them from the original x64e.rpf in the game's root folder, follow the post above.

I found out what the problem was. I noticed every time I called out prisoner transport no van came, the suspect was just taken away. I had deleted the police van. Reinstalled the van and it works like a dream. Thanks guys!
