So i understand that the old gameconfig file does not work with the new update. Does anyone have an updated gameconfig file that can hold up to the 25 or so added vehicles I have installed? I'm guessing that is the main reason i'm getting a game memory error but i'm not too sure. Thanks.

Hey Matt,

To my knowledge, there is no updated gameconfig that allocates for more standalone cars.    Are you still using an old gameconfig? if so, that is your game memory error.  If you're on a new config (that works with the update), the game memory error is from something else.

I opted for the folder: 'new version 0,5x traffic', and since adding that, I can add cars that previously I could not, along with being able to edit meta and carvariation files that now, seem to work without any issues.  I'm using 12 added police vehicles rite now but will be adding more at some point.

Please read through ALL the descriptions and ReadMe's before diving straight in  - they really help. Prior to this I was gonna burn down the house in frustration so I hope it helps you out too.

Thanks for linking that.  I had bookmarked another uploaded gameconfig that was now outdated.  I'll keep that one handy to link as well.

Oh, I'm still going strong, lol.  I'm still on an old GTA version, and mine has about 100 standalone cars, if not more.  I used to link to my gameconfig 'till the update.

Thank you it worked! Now I have to figure out why some of my added cars do not have a siren or lights anymore. Update problems

Check the vehicle meta and carvar.  In vehicle meta, make sure it has an <audioNameHash>, as well as FLAG_LAW_ENFORCEMENT.  In carvar, check to make sure it has a siren setting of "1".

Ya it has all those things. I just copied over what I had in the old vehicles.meta into the new one. Ill probably just reinstall those vehicles. Its only like 5 of the 20 added vehicles doing it that I added. The rest of the added vehicles and the ones I replaced work fine. BxBugs unmarked CVPI doesn't work im guessing because they changed the carcols in the new update so ill probably just remove that.

That's strange.  Does it have regular vehicle sounds + regular horn?

ya im using 2 Tahoes from Gump and the Florida highway patrol pack of Gump. Now that I noticed, its only Gump's vehicles that dont have the lights and sirens. Bugs CVPI has sirens but not lights im guessing due to the carcols.

Glad it worked for you. As for the sirens thing, my man Arariel  seems more knowledgeable on that than I. I re-installed all my vehicles again once I changed the gameconfig. Running about 22 add-on police/ambulance vehicles now and no issues. Again just to add - I've been using the siren mastery mod, which again works a treat. I'd recommend that if your having issues with sirens on your vehicles - but I'm guessing its something in your meta/carvariations/carcols etc.

Ya i'm probably just going to uninstall and reinstall the ones not working. It wont take that long so might as well.
