Just so you're aware. The version the mod says it is and the version LSPDFR says it is don't match up.

 

Some screenshots would be helpful to pinpoint the issue.

Every once in a while when I force duty it gives me an message saying "Version 0.3.1 is now available" but no matter how many times I redownload, it still says it. Then I looked on Update Checker and it says it's version 0.3.38.5436

That's a bug that has been reported before.

As to the version on the DLL, it does appears to say 0.3.38 [..] - The installer has the correct version however.

The version you are seeing via that third-party tool and the metadata on the DLL file is the build version. This differs from the actual public version we decide to name it.

For example, I'm running Windows 10 build 14931.1000, this differs from the public version of Windows 10 Anniversary Update.
