You did not install carvariations.meta or vehicles.meta files.

There wasn't any carvariations.meta or vehicles.meta to install. Plus it's not just on this model, its on every police model. Stock or mod.

Did you install any car mods by Bxbuggs?

I don't understand the point of signatures on this site. What the fuck is the point?

Nah, this is the only car mod I've installed and it's by Captain14

Hmm. Somewhere, somehow, you've completely f*cked something up. Try deleting your mods folder and seeing if the vanilla cars work.

Just tried it now and still same.

Can you get another carvariations.meta and vehicles.meta?

Seems a bit extreme.

Try changing your graphic settings instead, see if that helps.

I used to have my settings lower but when I installed the mod car the lights were light so I raised my settings and got the bright colors but now it has a fog effect or something.

Still need help.

Delete Update.rpf from Grand Theft Auto V --> Update.  Run the game without a plugins or mods folder and let it update.  It should download a new update.rpf file and hopefully fix any problems with the visual settings.

im back. i guess you had too many threads started on the same thing because i can't find the one we were working on. okay here is the solution i will give. this thread was made for GTA IV, but the visual data settings are about the same. open your settings up and compare the numbers in this thread with the settings you currently have. just increase/decrease the numbers until you get the bloom reduction you are looking for. i hope this helps somewhat..if nothing else it should put you on the right track :) i do find it quite ridiculous that this thread sat for four months without any help. that speaks volumes about this forum.

Sorry for the late response, but no this did not solve my problems. It seemed like they looked the same even after I changed those values multiple times.

okay i was reading up the thread there and i noticed you said that after you installed a car, you changed the lights because they were not so bright and then they became foggy. cant you just undo what you changed there to get them back to normal?

Yeah I've tried that. I've uninstalled GTA multiple times and now I just use the starter police cars but like I said, whenever I use an visual enchantment mod I get that too bloomy effect on every bright light.
