I spotted several topics, as well as single posts, about stability of LCPD:FR on the newest Windows, as well as those about LSPD:FR. However, me as probably most of You, don't use computer only for performing a duty. So, is it worth to upgrade my OS to Windows 10? I have in mind increased stability of FR, however I heard somewhere that there are disadvantages in typical working on the new OS. What's Your opinion about it?

I was originally hesitant to move to windows 10 when it first entered the "free to upgrade period" but I did it anyway on my windows 7 desktop PC that I use for everything.

The only issue I've had was with one nvidia driver completely destroying my ability to use 2 monitors, rolled back and waited for a new driver. Everything else just seems to work fine, I use it every day for gaming of all kinds, developing mods, listening to music, browsing the internet, writing word documents. Pretty much everything you'd ever expect to do with a PC. Seems to be fairly stable in my opinion, and I like the design of the OS as well.

One disadvantage I have noticed is you can't exactly stop it from updating, you can only schedule the updates. This is on a home copy though, on the business or professional copies I believe you can stop updates altogether.

There's literally no difference in stability of Grand Theft Auto mods. My only issue is that sometimes the start menu doesn't work, but that hasn't happened in months now after I reinstalled the OS so I haven't had any problems since. I love how fast 10 boots, so much quicker than 7 ever did.

I almost feel like windows 7 is being degraded by windows just so people will go to 10...i just finished rehashing again because windows 7 wouldnt work at all..drivers wouldnt install and everything..put 10 back on and 0 issues

What about that free upgrade, it approves which version of Windows 10?
