Although I have made 4 or 5 posts on this forum, my post count 1 post.  Why is this?

Sorry, but that is a real dumb idea!  If people are making helpful posts to those asking questions on the support forums, then they deserve to have their post counted.

Post counts aren't really a big thing. How many posts you have shouldn't affect whether or not you post on the forums.
