Police Radio GUI/Audio Issues (Want to Resolve)

Featured Replies

So using PoliceRadio is great, really gets you immersed in the game. However, my PoliceRadio hasn't worked properly since I first started playing LSPDFR last June. The radio constantly flickers, and if I have plate audio set to true, the audio is so quite, it stutters and it lags the game.

CP Specs:

2.9Ghz w TurboBoost to 3.2 Ghz

32 GB Ram

1TB HDD

GTX960M 2GB Memory (I run around 1600-1800 and no issues w anything else).

Steam Copy (Steam OverLay is disabled)

GTAV.exe is set as high priority in task manager.

I'm just trying to resolve this. I've deleted everything PoliceRadio related, and reinstalled, no fix. I've used a vanilla copy of the game and added PoliceRadio and LSPDFR only, still the issue persists (thinking maybe an audio file is missing/corrupted or etc). I read that RPH causes the radio to flicker, because that's how it is (unconfirmed) due to I see people youtube their patrols, and they have no issues. I'm just trying to fix this because it's sort of annoying that everything else works fine and smooth but I have to disable the audio and the radio flickers constantly.

I want to thank FinKone for his creation, and Albo and DCP for their continued support in updating PoliceRadio. I want you 3 to know, I'm not annoyed at you three or being ignorant, I just want it operate properly lol.

I appreciate anyones feedback, regardless of negative or positive.

I'm removing plugin by plugin to see if I can narrow this down.

So far the following are checked to not conflict/cause issue;

EUP

Police Radio

Arrest Manager

LSPDFR+

ALPR+

Assorted Callouts

Secondary Callouts (noted minor flickering, but so minor it's not bothersome)

Code 3 Callouts

2 Plugins continued to make PoliceRadio go nuts, and the audio became distorted and laggy and were subsequently removed;

ClearTheWay

Traffic Policer (AHHH one of the biggest mods needed for this game.)

@Albo1125 any recommendation? Everything is up to date boss.

The flashing is an issue with the way Ragehook has to load DirectX.
As for the quiet audio, I have no idea.

That's what I've come to understand. Audio wise I have no idea either. Once I removed clear the way and traffic policer it was fine. I added TP again and the audio went nuts again.

it looks like you had a older build of clearthewayv newer versions that are current now do not crash & don't cause issues with police radio either since I use police radio+clearthewayv+some of my other mods.

My plugins by me are on this site in addition to my own site as well.
