Trying to play LSPDFR using RageHook plugin. 

When I launch Rage it says" The Current game Verison is not supported. Please install gane Verison 617". 

I have the retail Verison did not buy this off of steam. Can someone please help mem

Welcome to the lspdfr world. The admin will will probably tag you with the correct link for first time persons as you must read or watch videos on YouTube to get a idea trust me it'll help and they do it so it keeps the forums clean.

If your game is new retail just bought you will need to update it to patch 757 as 617 is outdated. Simply run your gta v game connected to the internet not running lspdfr or any mods and ensuring none of them load and only running the gta v launcher and signing into the social club will update your game to the latest version. Kepp in mind however rumor has it gta v has updated for the July 4th dlc. So if that is the case rph 41 may not work so you would have to wait. Meaning lspdfr will not run. Until someone confirms I am only aware of patch 757 from rock * and rage plugin 41 as this is what I am on.

Reading the manual with lspdfr/rage it says it all. After copying your lspdfr or doing the auto install you will need to go to rage site and install that rph version 41. 40 still worked on the last gta v patch from rock * 757 if you don't need the latest plugin versions but I would get 41 and have 40 incase you decide to go to 40. Just keep in mind older versions of plugins or rage are not supported with help so it's a self fix and use thing once new versions are out. Also if any questions pertain to rage plugin hook you should post the rage technical questions at rage plugins site.

Please read the forums more on how to avoid updates and why along with take the time to read the manuals or read me's. The admin pushes this allot which is very understandable. Hope you get things going and enjoy the game :)

Yeah if it is version 617 gta v you'll have to connect online running only the gta v launcher and letting it up date. After it updates it will run or ask you to run the game. Disconnect from online and then exit the game or cancel before running it. Then install your lspdfr then rage 41 replacing the old rage files in lspdfr. Once you get everything setup run the rage plugin as administrator. Then your good to go. Just don't run mods or the modded game online. Only use story mode or rock * could ban you from social club. While it is everywhere else I'll just add it since I posted in the future once you get the game going make backups so you have something to fall back on incase a mess up happens. Also use the backup current version feature rph offers. If you have to validate your game sign into social club running the gta launcher then disconnect from online before it updates the game. This way you'll for sure have a working game until plugins and rph gets updated.

@Starmix my apologies, it's just that I've been trying really hard to get this working and nothing is working. 

Just run Grand Theft Auto V normally, not RagePluginHook. Do it whilst you're connected to the internet and it should automatically update. Once that's complete, then run RagePluginHook.

At first things may seem like allot but once you learn it it goes pretty fast and smooth. It is a free information and help based community I do not take payments or donations. It actually is good to go hands on and learn so you get a idea where everything is and goes and when things update again youll recall where every thing is placed.

LSPDFR runs automatically when you start rage if you have in installed correctly, you DONT start it via rage console

Yeah that i know, but settings In RAGE, under "PLUGINS" where you select which plugins you want to run, LSPDFR isn't there. 

it wouldnt be there because you dont launch it via RAGE console..... if youre talking about after its already launched and working, then you should post ragehook log or go to rage forum
