Well goodluck! With how Rockstar has done things it'll be hard to do... but the textures are obviously there you just need to find them.

It'd have to be the original authors though, as redistributing models is not allowed.

 

Maybe a project for when theres a good amount of models out. I know there are still plenty on the table

I'm working on new VicPol police stations and TAC messages on billboards at the moment. However don't expect them until mid January as I am really busy atm.

It's also theoretically possible to get cars to drive on the correct side too. We've found some files recently that seem to actually define all of the driving nodes. The hard part is most of the details in the files aren't documented yet, so lots of trial and error to figure out what needs to be changed - then the tedious job of changing them all lol Probably nothing that'll happen in the next few months due to the amount of work involved, but possibly one day...

I don't think that will work considering every model released to this date has been left hand drive.

 

Is it possbile to re-obatain the models in the right hand drive format without repaying?

Haha, sounds tempting.

Some more pics. I've done all the speed limit signs converted to km/h and rounded to the next multiple of ten (will create multiple variations to choose from). I've done a fair bit, but these are the only ones that I could find during a quick 5 minute session.

Since manually installing map mods are **** (especially multiple ones) if you are Australianising Los Santos, form a modding team to complete the job. That way the big task is easier, and the release is in a single oiv.

When I release it, it will be available both as a .oiv and as a manual format for people to modify and install as they wish. Right now, I am focusing on the fundamental nation-wide elements of the map by myself. Then, I might consider forming a small team to do state-specific elements. We'll see though. Anyone is welcome to send through stuff they think would be cool to be put in, however I cannot guarantee something sent will be put in.

I've found the billboard models, but the textures are not embedded into the file, nor can I find textures in a seperate file within the same directory. They must be somewhere else, or I've just overlooked them. Someone has made NZ variants of billboards (https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/new-zealand-billboards-buildings-textures), you can ask the mod author. I would suggest downloading it, but it's a fairly large file and have to use alternative links, more of a hassle than it's worth. If you find out, if you could send me a message and let me know, that would be appreciated. If I end up finding it, I will try to remember to message you.
