Nice flags. Adds so much more to the picture. I'm thinking about putting some Australian flags into my game too. I'm also thinking of texturing the "POLICE - DO NOT CROSS" barrier to be yellow with the black "ROAD CLOSED" text, however I have found the model, but am yet to try and extract the texture files as they seem to be located somewhere else (really annoying).

There's a NSW & Australian flags mod available which is where these flags are from.  I've also tried modifying the police & fire stations to make them more Australian but there's plenty of files I haven't found yet. It's not as simple as finding one file & that replaces the lot

what did you have in mind in the way of modifying the stations?

With Moose's NSW GDs Evoke - what sirensetting are people using? I'm trying setting it to 69 but the lights aren't working.

Pretty sure the Evokes use 70 (needs 1.2 of AFP I believe)

I was thinking the same, most of us which come to this thread on the daily most likely don't need it, but for newbies who don't know what the go is and what's been released over the months...

In which case I may continue to (slowly but surely) try and keep up with released, update the front post once every few weeks, especially coming into Christmas, I imagine alot of people still get the game as a gift or buy it on sale.

easiest to start off would be to grab ones that have been already done to give you an idea of what to look for, the british one is a pretty good start and covers all stations i believe

Aw yeah - finally got around to learning the whole texture toolkit thing... GTA, get ready to be Australianised.

Nice ahaha, I've been looking for the billboard locations etc to try and make new textures like displaying Aussie ads and Police Messages but couldn't find the buggers at first glance would love to spice up the city with a little Aussieness

Just make sure if it's realeased it's in an OIV package. Unlike some other world textrue mods.

Dont suppose anyone's found the speed limit signs yet? We needs them in Km/h for straya!

It's not easy. One of the first things I did was to install a UK stations pack for police & fire stations plus hospitals. I found some of the file locations but not all of them.  Did the same with an NYPD pack. 

 

Even a blue/white chequerbaord scheme without logos that any Aussie could use would be a useful alternative.

I have seen them before, they are definitely on the to-do list. Can't remember exactly where, but I know I have seen them, and they will be converted to km/h! 

 

I have never loved a Wikipedia article so much: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_signs_in_Australia Making things 10x easier.

Waait. Did someone just create a goal of essentially turning the enviornment objects into Australian things aswell? Is the final goal to turn Los Santos/San Andreas into an Australian City? 

 

...If this actually works i might actually use Australian stuff...
