Unlike VICPOL NSW are more armed after the Lindt Cafe Siege they have upgraded Guns, Cars, Armor and procedures

Don't know about the amour and guns, but VicPol have reviewed and upgraded a lot of procedures lately, and their fleet of vehicles is upgraded faster than NSW. I think I remember reading that Victoria and Western Australia are the fastest to upgrade their vehicles, and it sounds about right because I've only been seeing series 2 VF cars around here all year

If you don't read my readme files don't inbox me asking for help

If you've re installed both LSPDFR and RagePlugin Hook it's safe to say it's not those

Google how to make exceptions for specified programs in whatever anti virus you run, and google how to make exceptions in Windows firewall

obviously somethings changed, and it can happen for no reason, my bet is the AV has updated its database (because it can do this automatically on startup without you knowing) and now sees Ragehook as a threat or some sort of spammy application, although I would imagine youd get this big warning message when trying to open it if it thought it was malware.

It's easier for you to google how to make an exception than to explain it here myself. Explore that, and if it doesn't work I'm all out of ideas and the tech help forums would be of more assistance.

Cheers for the help, turned out my game directory was on the desktop instead of the Steam location ahaha!

Got Macgregor's Hilux installed too, one beast of a machine! See the below screenshot to get an idea of how many cops rock up to a pursuit of a tank

The only thing that's changed is the "ask questions first and shoot later" procedure to "shoot first, ask questions later" in terrorist events.

They no longer negotiate with terrorists, because it's been made clear no amount of negotiating will stop them from doing what they went there to do.

I feel like I saw something about Vicpol cops can't travel alone, but you still see ranking NSW cops travelling alone so that's not changed for us yet.

Can someone please explain why they "the Police" can't release a sleeping type gas into any premises aircon, when every one passes out arrest them all, supposing they are not wearing a gas mask, they would not even be aware the gas has been placed in the vents as most Aircon systems are on the roof

You've been watching too much Hollywood.

For examples sake, the exact same reason they shot Harambe the Gorilla instead of tranquilizing him.
Things like that are actually slow acting in reality, and there's many issues with using this thing to force people to go to sleep who don't want to, or intend to cause harm.
By the time it starts working (slowly), the terrorist (or gorrilla) has time to realise it's being forced to sleep, panic, and cause damage.

When you're talking about a gas with the ability to send a human to sleep, it can also go two ways

a) be non-effective - in which case this might also agitate the situation

b) the risk of over dosing and permanently going to sleep instead of a nice little "nap"

While not squashing people's ideas, because ideas and brainstorming is how systems improve
I really wish people would stop using fictional hollywood logic and apply it to criticize our police or army.

Hmm, I can't speak for the Victorians but I don't think that's quite right..

According to many article sources, VICPOL are required by law to wear bulletproof vests and can not work alone due to recent incidents.

Every Police Force is by law made to wear Bullet Proof vests even GD Now with there Normal Vests are being made Bullet Proof but i was only speaking for NSW and VICPOL

Actually that is incorrect. SAPOL have ruled out the need for bulletproof vests to be worn, the officers are well trained and are aware of the current security.

That SA logic though haha
Being well trained won't stop a really determined person from putting a bullet in you.
While Southern Australia, along with WA and NT aren't really real big targets, unpredictable shit happens and it's as simple as that.

What's your source?

The load bearing vests that NSW police wear are not bulletproof. All cars have bulletproof vests in the boot.

I really hope "Southern Australia" was an honest mistake, it's South Australia :whistling:

Some states do different things, some are under more threat than others. Correct me if i'm wrong, but QLD has not followed in Victoria's footsteps either...

Yeah I own up for that mistake.
It's been a while already since I did Geography, and I hear the name less than I hear the word "Tasmania"
It's sometimes easy to forget these states exist
