That code 3 GD falcon blows my mind, I didn't think I'd see it for a while yet.

I was waiting forever for these things including Aussie Cops, I send my laptop away and boom almost everything I wanted to come out has been released!

Making me overwhelmingly itchy to get my laptop back..

Ill add those things to the list now.

@BlobbySmutho the more vest options the better!

I do take a personal liking to the ones with the taser holster on the front though.

@PgUp Same here, it makes it look at little bit more Australian than the American style, plus u could also end up doing different styled vest that each state in Australia use for their own Police force, will link a few pics later for everyone to understand on what im talking about

Beautiful. I'll definitely have to try this out.

ive got a little question too, not really related. Do you know if you can script certain objects on a vehicle to do certain functions. For example if I named an object on a model stand_l, would you be able to write a script that makes stand_l rotate 90 degrees at the touch of a button.

That should be possible although won't be on Ragepluginhook, best person to ask though is gangrenn as he did it for gta 4

Hmm, I'm not sure how it'd be done but it should be possible. Worst case, it'd be easy enough to have say two extras, one for the stand as normal and one for it rotated, and swap them via script.

I know i'm going to get shit for this but is anyone gonna bring out a Counter  terrorism  Unit skin for a land cruiser as i know theres Calls for that in LSPDFR so it would b realistic

Most states in Australia have their own Counter terrorism unit which consists usually of just detectives, that operate in conjunction with the AFP and ASIO, any counter terrorism "raids" or "take downs" on a target are conducted by that states police "tactical unit". For example the NSW police have the tactical operations unit (TOU). these units usually just rock up in the bear cat or in marked or unmarked land cruisers. Would defiantly be cool to see some of those.

There are marked Ford Territories at a West Tigers NRL game in Campbelltown (NSW) a couple of Months ago with the Call sign CTU (Counter Terrorsim Unit) 500 with "Report what you see" on the pack so i'll try and find a picture

This is the Closest i could find to the Car but its not a Ford and it said Counter Terrosim i'll keep looking

I looked and yeah thats a CTU car the description of the photo said it was

Thats interesting, i had no idea, maybe its a new unit formed in light of recent events, patrolling public events and areas with a large number of people gathered. either way would be awesome to see a picture of it, could defiantly give a shot modelling it. Currently giving the F&RNSW Pumper a go.

You mean riot squad for the land cruiser? I've never seen counter terrorism printed on a car, but I'm not in Sydney. I've seen the black riot control and our version of "swat" (they might even be the same thing) black 4wd's though.

It's just normal GD checkers with black paint isn't it?

Edit: I think they might have roof racks n shit too, and little square LED flashing lights on the roof racks or whatever, from really rough, rusty memory.

Yeah I know what your talking about, but i think Aussie gaming is talking about something different, anyway definitely going to need pictures if you want any chance of a model.

If you don't read my readme files don't inbox me asking for help

I wonder if some awesome texturer could make an ACT AFP livery for the paddy wagon?

I would but I can't stand the new AFP livery... it's godawful.

Also, curvy stuff gives me issues in photoshop... beyond my skills.

I actually don't mind it at all, its better then the boring livery we use to have here in the ACT, just the standard AFP checkers it was.

Does anyone know what prefix TOU in NSW used before their callsign? Do they include their LAC like GD's or do they just use "TAC" or what? Oh and also, AFP, do they have call signs when they're in operations or, how does it work?

Cheers mates

Couldn't disagree more. Loved the old stuff. Although I've always wondered why we need to be different to everyone else...

AFP National use their office name and badge number (ie: Canberra 11223) and yes, it makes for a long transmission by the time you say it, dispatcher repeats it and you actually talk.

ACT uses station and then has a two digit number. First number is shift (1 is day, 2 is morning, 3 is afternoon and 4 is night), second number is vehicle (0 is sergeant, 1 is usually also sergeant, 2 is cage, 3 and on is sedan), so Belconnen 12 is the Belconnen caged vehicle.

For whatever reason it deviates from that for other stuff. T (tango) is traffic and numbers are somewhat random and assigned to s member rather than a car... canine is 'dog team' with a number that's assigned to the member again... it's pretty random.

Oh and airports are the airport name plus 3 digit unit number assigned to the member that change every time they're on duty.

Really?! thats fair enough, i do agree with you on that, i guess its just because the ACT police is a branch of the AFP apposed to being just the state police, they just had to be different hahaha!!

thats super interesting thanks heaps for that. could you explain how NSW work?!

Thanks alot for that mate, I appreciate that.

// I didn't want to have to write this here but I can't hop on TS since I don't have internet at the moment. //

@bronyrapper: Can you forward that information onto the AFP snrs (Nathan and Oliver) and just let them know they can develop that system up. (They won't need dog, Moose's department will be the only dog unit.) Also, let SkillfulCorpse know that it'd be cool if we can get an AFP texture for Kingsford Smith Intl. marked vehicles. Like the one Darkmyre suggested a few posts back. But, its up to dev team.
