Hello,

I installed Carpers and BXBug's 2011 CVPI and before it worked perfectly but recently it wouldn't spawn when I clicked it and now it just crashes my game when I try to spawn. Not sure what to do, I've reinstalled multiple times (multiple slots) and no luck.

Any future help is greatly appreciated!

Don't reinstall, uninstall it.  Check if it works with the default model, and if it doesn't then the problem is not the car mod.  If it does work, then you must be installing it incorrectly, or the model is somehow incompatible with ur game.

 

Where are you installing the vehicle files too?

@jackmadden I've uninstalled and reinstalled, the default police1 files works great but when I install the CVPI it crashes or doesn't spawn. @FRGamer, I'm installing to X64e Police1 slot and sorry, I tried looking for the a specific section and I couldn't find one.

@Hystery I've looked at that guide and I've already done the recommended troubleshooting for it and it did not work, thank you for the help nonetheless! 

Ah, there is the problem, don't install in x64e.  x64e stopped working a few updates ago I think, and all the install locations have switched up a bit. For all vehicles, put them in patchday9ng.  If you follow the same folders, there is a vehicles.rpf in there, in which you can put all of the vehicle mods you have, even if the readmes say to put the somewhere else.  But you still have to put the carvariations.meta, etc. into where the readmes say.

When the game updates again, check to see if ur cars still work, if not, then hold off until the mods get up to date and they say in the readmes what the new installation directory is.

hm... then i'm not sure.  Does the bxbuggs one have any carvariations, or anything like that?

None. And I've used this car multiple times before and this is the first time it's ever done this..

If you're using a mods folder, like you should be, delete all the files you installed a car in and redo everything from the start. And follow my guide. It'll work.
