[SOLVED]

God I hate making these help threads, but I mean it's the easiest way to tell what's wrong and how to fix it.

Is no one else's LSPDFR.dll crashing in the game approx 30 seconds after loading it? Just the LSPDFR plugin, not the game.
I've made no changes since I last played except adding VisualV and RadianceV which doesn't touch LSPDFR.

I've had this happen before, but it fixed itself. I saw some mumbo jumbo briefly in the ragehook menu about LSPDFR... blah blah lack of communication to blah blah.

Anyone else got the same? Explanation? The dealio, what is it?

Edit: I've now had a good scroll through and seen many people have this issue. Sooo.. Yeah this thread was probably useless maybe, although I haven't seen an explanation so if anyone could still provide some help that'd be great.

Edit x2: I've read that if the plugins can't connect to the server to check for an update it'll crash LSPDFR, so that's probably it. But still the question remains, my end or their end? How do I fix it if it's me?

one question what antivirus are you running and please don't say pc-matic if you're running pc-matic that is your problem.

I think that because of the recent DDOS, LCPDFR.com has blocked all auto-requests for stuff, so for now I think you'll just have to disable autoupdating in the relevant .ini for the update checking plugin/s

God that's shit. Fucking 12vies thinking they're Anonymous ruining it for everyone. Yeah I don't really know which plugins are asking for an update, I don't think alot of them have that in the configuation ini file, from what I remember setting up my own keys and stuff. I'm hoping that if it's not in the configuration it default won't check for updates.

People were exploiting the auto update checking to DDOS the website, because people like ruining things.
Most that do, have an option to turn it off, I don't know of any that auto-update and don't have a disabler.

Some of us have had an issue with LSPDFR crashing due to an update check error. IF you have not read the thread already, Check here:
 

 

Putting auto updating as false worked the trick. I found it annoying anyway.
