Problem with FPS

Featured Replies

I've got a problem with FPS. When I'm playing clean GTA V it's everything alright, but after that i install lspdfr with mods, FPS's jumping from 60 to 20. Is that a problem with my computer? RAM, processor? Sorry for my english. I'm from Poland. Thanks for help.

My computer:

Processor: i5 3350p 3.1 GHz overclocked to 3.4 GHz

Graphic card: ASUS GTX 970 4GB

RAM: 8,00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 686MHz (9-9-9-24)

I forgot about my computer's information :)

Before starting the game open up your task manager and click the details part on task manager and then start the game, then look for GTAV.EXE and click on it and set the priority to high that should fix the fps issue

Not if it's related to the mods installed.

You should provide a detailed list of the mods you're using, some are really resource hungry and might have an impact on performance.

OK. I have much mods, so:

-Agency Callouts

-Arrest Manager

-Arrest Warrant Callout

-Assorted Callouts

-Callouts V

-Code 3 Callouts

-Code Red Callouts

-Conchs Callouts

-Crazy Callouts V

-Custom Backup

-Federal Action

-Federal Callouts

-High Priority Callouts

-HEROCOP

-More Callouts

-PedSearch

-Peter U Callouts

-Police Radio

-Police Toolbox

-Rage Show My Location

-Repeat Offender

-Safer Chases

-Secondary Callouts

-Spike Strips V

-Strays Callouts

-Traffic Control

-Traffic Policer

-Vehicle Search

-Wilderness Callouts

-Yet Another Partner Mod

Thats all :) Number of mods don't cause this problem. Even when I have a few mods, fps fall down.

But when I wouldn't want to delete mods but change my computer's subassembly, what is the first to must be changed?

I think the prior update to this latest rock * haggle was the game itself reacting to the mods. Don't quote me on it but I believe they put tougher mod restrictions into the previous version and from what I been poking around in seems they were testing a few anti mod measures out also. The mods overtime will have this effect as also mentioned. The fps can be fixed at least for me by doing the above setting gtav.exe as high priority or real time. I also would do the launcher and the Nvidia. I also noticed some improvement using the Nvidia settings over the gta v settings. Mine only did this though in the city in heavy graphics but everywhere else even flooding the panic and back up buttons to explosions I had solid fps. Either a mod was very hungry caused it, a anti mod measure they were playing with from rock * or a glitch in the previous patch. Not sure though but in higher machines the mentioned fixes the problem. Oh incase you didn't notice don't let gta update right now and have actual backup copies not just rage. Lol.
