Well took a break from it and saw a request to make a LASD prison transport bus. So decided to make a version using the "Coach" model from the game.

 

 

Still having a hard time with the Caprice as 3ds max isn't wanting to work. I've been given permission to work on another vehicle that I'm probably going to focus on in the mean time until someone can help me with the caprice but in the mean time fulfilled another request but this time for an Insurgent 2 Swat Vehicle.

 

Nice, on the insurgent, i would move the LSPD roundel down just a tad. 

Yea it needs it is all but again not good with liveries lol

New thing I'm working on. Still gotta make some tweaks to the textures and components and lights as lights are my kyrptonite. A seperate file will be included of an Undercover version where the door badges, GMC Wheels, and Roof Rack will be included for people to choose from one or the other.

Sorry for the delay but been getting so caught up in the new GTA online update haven't been vehicle modeling lately but I am back now.

 

I am back at working on the GMC Yukon Denali again. Still need to figure out an Arjent lightbar to get it to work right. But reason I'm writing is I wanna send out a beta test of the vehicle before I release it. The marked unit in the video anyways. Would anyone be wanting to beta test the vehicle and give me some feedback on things that could possibly improve the vehicle more?

I've created a huge pack of vehicles that are template however being as they are not police related I felt shouldn't have been uploaded to LSPDFR. However you can find them here once admin approval has been made:

Had a Template request come over to me for an ambulance. Turns out the model was in very rough shape and I couldn't salvage it because of the materials. However the LSPDFR user had his first model that he made and wasn't successful with and wanted it to look like that. Being a first model they are always rough to work on so instead I decided to rebuild it starting all over again and from the ground up before I template it. I took the two models and put them together correctly and then after a few wheel issues were resolved I made a template for it. It is such a cool idea I couldn't help but video it while I tested it out in game with the template.

 

I can't wait to see what the user does with it. It is a great idea on a simple platform for a low poly alternative to an ambulance. Thanks again for having me be apart of it! :)

Just an update:

 

Denali is being worked on I hope by one of the people I helped in the past. I am no good when it comes to creating working lightbars for police vehicles (I've been following TheHurks download and I still don't seem to get it right or something. For the Arjent anyways).

 

I started to work on a police vehicle fleet for myself. I know you can easily find another modders beautiful work and just use it instead but I rather build my own for a lower poly, better quality of play for my gaming.

First I'm going to be using my Template pack that I released at GTA 5 Mods to bring some more real life company logo's and what not to my game. I am probably going to use a lot of what people have been uploading and creating because I've seen some really nice ones out there (FedEx, Pepsi, and Coca Cola Truck just as an example). Then finally I uploaded a video on my YouTube of my progress so far before GTA 5 updates itself tomorrow. I took the DEV Model of the 2003 CVPI by Lundy to make a Retired CVPI Taxi for my game with a Partitioner as well as a taxi radio. I know their is one already released over on GTA 5 Mods however I prefer to make my own. Also last time I had it the LOD's were not setup so the vehicle disappeared when enough distance was created between the character and the vehicle. If I find a Garmin or some sort of GPS object to add to it I may do that as well to add to the realism. Also I made it Mult-Livery so that I can have multiple Taxi Cab Companies running around Los Santos and not just 1 Company and is the first vehicle showcased in the below video.

 

Second Model I made is another @Lundy Dev Model for the Stanier vehicle slot (Thanks Again Lundy for releasing your amazing work). I saw a 2011 CVPI released on LSPDFR which gave me the idea to make it and I could of used his however I wanted a older model for me as well as build it for myself. I used Lundy's 1998 CVPI DEV Model for it and is the second vehicle in the video below. As you can see it is a 1998 Retired CVPI model, It is multi-livery enabled(I plan on making a faded black and white skin, an all white skin, all black skin, all gray skin, all blue skin, and maybe an all maroon skin), it also has 4 extra's. 1 is the Rambar on the front of it, Second is the Center Antenna on the trunk, Third is the dual Antenna's on the trunk (All are connected to the trunk so when it opens they open with the trunk as well), and finally a working spotlight as the last extra. Reason I did this was to increase my experience with the Police Impersonator callout by @Stealth22. This way when someone calls about a Police Impersonator and I have to look for a Stanier they will be different vehicle variations that I'll come across (Some with or without rambars, different paint jobs, etc.).

I may release the Stanier later on if their is alot of request for me to do so. I just don't want to flood the community with retired police cruisers as I have seen a CVPI and a Dodge Charger already.

Also I'm hoping someone can make it but I put a request over on the Suggestion forum if someone could possibly make a "Lyft" Mustache that I may make as an extra in some of the default vehicle models so that every now and then you come across a lyft driver service. I'm no good with 3d Modeling so I have to ask someone else if they wouldn't mind making it.

Another project that I'll maybe release as a Dev Model but someone over at GTA 5 Mods (I won't reveal his name so he isn't bombarded with request lol)was nice enough to take on my object request for me and sent it over my way. I still have to finish touching up the textures as well as make it so the pink part of the mustache lights up at night but this is a Lyft Mustache that I am going to start adding to the in game cars as an extra. Basically so that it randomly spawns in each car as a possible lyft driver on duty transporting and picking people up around town.

As Always the Template pack over on GTA5Mods.com continues to grow as more request come in so that has been taking up most of my time.

 

GMC Denali Project is going to be abandoned just because it was so hard to work on and to get it correct. I may try again later on down the road

Caprice Polycount Reducing may start again as I am more familiar with it now but depends how much time I get through the holidays

 

Finally I created an Emergency Vehicle Pack for myself that if I can get permission from all the creators I will release as a pack (Minus Hurks CHP Police Motocycle. I will link that one in case anyone has been living under a rock (Yea I love the bike)) (if not I will try and release what DEV and have permission to release. Including Credits of coarse). Has little tweaks that I have to make but overall happy with the pack. List of Cars is below the video. All Cars minus the corner and police vans have breakable glass, extras that are removable (Rambars, Spotlights, ALPR Cameras, etc.), and are re template by me to make black and white units easier to make (I suck at photoshop).

ELS Pack: COMING SOON

 

I am releasing soon a Fictional pack of ELS vehicles that I created for myself. All of the models with the exception of 3 in the video below will be released for other users to download. The video below is a promo video of me testing all of them in game, some adjustment/tweaks are still needed for some of them. Right now the add on vehicles work, and all ELS lighting works as well. I need to find a livery creator (Link below if you wanna help me) to make the liveries for the cars and possibly someone to go through and tweak the ELS settings to be more correct for the models they are (Or I might just do this myself).

Created it so I could have fleets with matching lightbars somewhat, vehicles with all the LOD's so I didn't have to worry about disappearing car parts, and also I like to add details to the inside of the vehicle to give you that feeling your actually in a police vehicle when driving first person.
