Spotlight script

Featured Replies

Since the latest RPH version has come out the Spotlight script has now become outdated and no longer works, I know myself and many other people would love to have it brought back to life.

Maybe someone who is good with scripting will be able to create a new spotlight script? Just a suggestion considering many people including myself would like to see this become a thing again.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

Would love to see one (doubt it's possible) like we had in GTA IV, where you could actually see the Spotlight on the vehicle.

It's probably best to let the author update their script for the latest RPH as that should only require a few function name changes to be implemented. I believe @alexguirre is the author of the original script? Correct me if I'm wrong here.

I tested it and it's working for me(RPH 0.38, GTA V v678 Retail), if someone could post their log with the Spotlight crash I could try to fix it.

I don't have a problem with it, runs fine for me.

*sigh* I actually just fixed mine from crashing, i edited the .ini wrong and didn't put =None next to the certain features i wanted disabled. However i do remember @Jeff Favignano mentioning in one of his latest videos that the spotlight script started causing some issues?

I contacted him to try to fix, he said that it happened when you turn it off and on and he didn't have the log anymore, from that it could be one of those 'System.AccessViolation' crashes due to the anti-modding protections, these crashes seem to be really random and I can't do anything about them.
