I wanna download the latest version but norton keeps saying the download has a trojan gen 2 virus. what to do? Should I ignore this and allow the download anyways?

Yes, Norton is notoriously unreliable and almost completely useless. If you don't trust it, you don't have to download it.

If you are a loyal Norton user, I'd recommend remaining with Norton. While Norton isn't very friendly towards mods for all games in general, there are ways to get around the security measures that Norton likes to automatically enact on your system. When I return home in a few hours I can write out a step by step guide and try to help you get around this problem in the future. There is no way to prevent it, Norton will always remove mods for all games. However, there are ways to restore the mods after the removal. If you're willing to go through the process every time you want to add mods that Norton deems to be unsafe, then I can walk you through it very soon. I am at school right now so I can't. Just let me know! I have been with Norton for years and I tend to visit some dangerous websites. Norton has saved my system countless times from REAL attacks and REAL viruses. The problem with Norton is that it seems everything "abnormal" persè, as a danger to your system. It's like that overprotective boyfriend.
