How do you add more textures to peds for variation?

Featured Replies

As an example, the ped i'm currently using ( armoured_02 ) has only one vest texture and a couple of faces and i'd like to give him more so he can have some variety.
Is this hardcoded per model? Is it editable via zmodeller? Am i missing the correct naming system entirely?

What his .ytd file looks like default on left compared to what i want it to look like on the right (this naming system doesn't seem to work by the way, i also tried uppr_diff_001_a_uni with a matching spec and normal map but also didn't work):

You should (in theory) be add additional Textures by naming them thus;

uppr_diff_000_a_uni

uppr_diff_000_b_uni

uppr_diff_000_c_uni

etc.

I am pretty sure that unlike GTA IV, extra textures won't appear on the model, as they are controlled by some other file (probably those ymt files that are alongside peds - they are currently uneditable).
