Simple Native Trainer Speedometer

Nope, the trainer is disabled, and so are all its functions. It's like trying to pull over a car in LCPDFR whilst being off duty.

Take a look at these though:

  1. Youtube - Simple Transparent Speedometer (MPH)
  2. http://www.gtagaming.../misc-mods/3009
  3. Youtube - GTA IV Speedometer

Thanks. I guess I'll try to do some browsing of my own...

Is there a way to change the SNT's shortcut keys (or disable them), so sick of Annihilator's spawning when I try pull out my Tazer, etc

To completely disable keybindings open up the trainer.ini file and locate this line:

KeyBindingsDisabled=0 //Key Bindings (except menu keys) disabled on startup

Now change the 0 to a 1 so it will now look like this:

KeyBindingsDisabled=1 //Key Bindings (except menu keys) disabled on startup

If you are having trouble locating the line, use notepads search function by clicking EDIT, then FIND at the top. Then search "Keybindings" and go through the results until you find it.

Thanks Tom. It sucked having to pull my Pistol for everything (or alternatively crush everyone with the spawned Annihalator :devil: )

Correct. But I'm not sure how you can turn off a trainer unless you remove it from your gta directory. You might mean not to see the trainer text, you can do it by pressing Backspace or F4 (this will hide trainer and it will enable its screen if F4 is pressed again).

No he means disabling the keybindings, tutorial in my post above.... For example, pressing ALT+B no longer spawns a banshee.

Also you can disable the trainer by pressing CTRL+ALT+D and enable it by CTRL+ALT+E

You could use SpeedoIV, and use a special config for it to fit it over the radar map, it's more a traditional speedometer like in your car that you drive

Is there any way to have the Speedometer from the trainer remain on screen even if the trainer is disabled?

Yes, it is!

You have 3 things to do:

1. position "KeyBindingsDisabled=1"

2. postion "menu keys" delete values, so it looks like:

"

MenuKey=        //Enter Menu, Default F3
MenuKeyUp=        //Menu go Up, Default Num 8
MenuKeyDown=        //Menu go Down, Default Num 2
MenuKeyCancel=        //Menu Cancel, Default Backspace
MenuKeyScrollUp=    //Menu Scroll, Default Num 6
MenuKeyScrollDown=    //Menu Scroll, Default Num 4
MenuKeyEnter=    //Menu Enter, Default Num 5
MenuKeyBack=        //Menu Back, Default Num 0
HideMenuKey=

"

3. position Speed_Km=1        //Enable speedometer in KM

In my case it works only on Simple Native Trainer 1.0.8.0 - Cheat Menu version, but maybe older versions are suporrted too.

Works like a charm, and ther's no chances to activate, turn on trainer, menus and others.

So it's like the speedometer only mod.

P. S. It's been too long but i'm still playing GTA IV, so this post is for others who still did 😉
