HighPriest999 got a reaction from Double Doppler in Realistic Drivers/Traffic?Does anyone know if there are any mods/scripts/whatever out there to make the AI drivers more realistic in their driving?
If there's one thing that bugs me when I'm on patrol its pulling up to a set of lights in my cruiser and some jackass AI driver trying to pull round me cos they're impatient and smashing my/other cars up.
Obviously no one generally acts that way for real on the roads, and it would be especially advantageous during traffic stops...the amount of times I've tried to pull 1 car over and its resulted in a huge pile-up/congestion at a junction because all the AI drivers are mounting pavements, running down peds, etc etc trying to drive round each other...
Is there anything like this available? Or would anyone be willing to take a crack at making it?

HighPriest999 reacted to ActionScripter9109 in Want to play MP right now?Alright. Today I learned a valuable lesson - if you make the LCPDFR server public, random asshats WILL come in and ruin it. So here's how I'm gonna do this from now on.
If you want to play vanilla LCPDFR, with no car mods, add ActionScripter9 on LIVE. Message me so I know you're from the forums and not a random nut. When I start the server, I'll make it friends-only, and I'll invite everyone who plays LCPDFR. That way we can keep it nice and sane.
Also, you'll do well to install DAS (Dispatch Assistance System), as it's invaluable for cooperative police work and communication. My friend Google has the link to it.
Later, troopers.

HighPriest999 reacted to Ekalb in A few questions about Multiplayer...You'll have to install the mod twice to have it installed on both regular GTA IV and on EFLC, just change the install path each time.
Any multiplayer game is very client-side so lots of your mods won't effect anything and you can still play with people who don't have any of those mods. The reason we attempted to make so many restrictions in multiplayer is so we could stop so many people crashing when they were relied on.
I think the DAS call signs are determined by what ped you have.
Official MP games just spring up every now and then, we haven't had one in a while but feel free to communicate with your friends or others on the forum to start your own games.
The way LCPDFR works is the same as it does in singleplayer. If other people in the game don't have the mod they will still see you chasing offenders, arresting them etc. but they won't be able to interact with it in any way (they don't get callouts, can't go into police stations, can't arrest etc.). It's better if others have it but even then it's not like everyone gets the same callouts. Essentially each person is running the mod separately for themselves but you're sharing the map.

HighPriest999 reacted to AlconH in Simple Native Trainer SpeedometerTo completely disable keybindings open up the trainer.ini file and locate this line:
KeyBindingsDisabled=0 //Key Bindings (except menu keys) disabled on startup
Now change the 0 to a 1 so it will now look like this:
KeyBindingsDisabled=1 //Key Bindings (except menu keys) disabled on startup
If you are having trouble locating the line, use notepads search function by clicking EDIT, then FIND at the top. Then search "Keybindings" and go through the results until you find it.

HighPriest999 reacted to cp702 in gta 4 Night build?"Nightly build" doesn't mean what you think it means.
To answer your question, Simple Native Trainer lets you both set and freeze the time. In the "Time" submenu, select "Night" and hit 5, and then select "Freeze Time" and hit 5 [F3 opens the menu, 8 and 4 navigate up and down, 5 is the equivalent of Enter].

HighPriest999 reacted to Ridgerunner in ENB for a not so good PC?You can also experiment with other graphical enhancement mods like RealityIV, VisualIV, Sgt. Kanyo's (Rob Zombie) Realistic Timecycle mod. etc. Great alternatives to ENB also I think its well worth it to download a new city texture pack like Ultimate Textures 2.0 or Better City Textures

HighPriest999 reacted to Ekalb in buying gta ivGet the Steam version, it is much better since you can repair your game if a mod screws it up.
Or just get whatever is cheaper.
