Carper's Charger texture problem

Featured Replies

Hello Officers, So i have this problem, when installed your Carper's new Charger, i changed the texture for both Chr_sign_1 and also sign_2 but my game crashes, so i decided to change only sign_1 and leave the sign_2 as it is but the problem is that when in game, the car sometimes spawn with the sign_2 texture(which looks like body template), how to fix this?

Just go into the .ytf file using OpenIV and delete the sign_2. There are multiple textures for this vehicle already if you wish to fill in the gap.

I've had some similar issues. The files don't seem to work with multiple 4k liveries. If you want multiple liveries at once, you need to downsize them all to 2k. But as Daquan said, you can also just delete the unwanted skin if you won't be using multiple slots.

I created some skins for the new chargers, and just updated them to include 2k skins to fix this issue. The readme has more info on how to deal with it.

Ok so if i downsize them to 2k or use your 2k textures then will i be able to change both sign_1 and sign_2 textures? without my game crashing?

I can't guarantee everything since I don't think everybody is having this issue. But I was successfully able to get all 5 of my 2k textures on one model without it crashing. When I tried to put in even 2 of my 4k textures it crashed.
