My game wont work after I downloaded lcpdfr 0.95 RC2

Featured Replies

After I downloaded LCPDFR 0.95 RC2 this little box came up saying Exception EFCreateError in module DSOUND.dll at 000116C5. Cannot create file "C:/Program Files (x86)/Rockstar Games/Grand Theft Auto IV/asilog.txt".Acess is denied.

If anybody knows what's wrong please let me know as soon as you can.

This belongs in LCPDFR Support, not GTA IV support, I'll only move this once, if you have any other issues from now on with the mod, please only create a topic in the other support section, moving thread.

SIDE NOTE: Make sure you are running the installer as Admin and that your directories are not "read only".

Help us, help you!

Actually Jam, i had have your mod for months and its because of the DDoS problem, because while in game for the past months have worked fine, and all the sudden when in game "I'm not able to log-in to save my stats to the site" so I re-downloaded LCPDFR and get the same problem, its the DDoS!!!

Nothing at all even remotely to do with the DDoS. It's only been going on for 2 days. Maybe a firewall on your end.

The system is, however, down right now. It will be fixed in due course.

I just re-installed the game but this little box came up saying GTA IV FATAL ERROR: RMN40

I hope it didn't ruin my game for good

If you're running XP, you need to update to SP3.

run the game as admin

At least check the thread for developments before posting.
