Air units shooting at suspects

Featured Replies

After watching closely the behaviour of the local air units (Police Maverick) I came to realize that they are always shooting at the suspects, whether lethal force is required or not. There is no mistake, you can see the bullets flying in the air coming from above, you can see the glasses being shattered by the impacts and you can hear the suspects moaning as they get hit.

I thought that maybe it was the second officer inside the helicopter shooting at them so I changed the number of peds inside to 1 and the air unit is still shooting the suspects.

Could it be looked at and hopefully fixed?

There are two helicopter units. One is the noose which are armed and will always shoot at the suspects and one is the local air support which only follows the suspect and keeps them in sight.

I thought I had been precise enough... I did say:

1. local air unit

2. Police Maverick

3. "whether lethal force is required or not"

Then there must be something wrong on your end since my local air unit does not shoot at the suspect.

Does it happen even if they haven't done anything considered violent? For instance, if I have a local air unit called in and a suspect hits an officer (on foot) at speed they'll start shooting at the vehicle.

Ah'm orderin' you to STAHP!

Are you using RDE? For me, I was able to fix this by replacing popcycle and similar files with the default ones

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.
